  • Can you do a tutorial about how to add volume to Black Hair....Pls.

  • is she natural or does she get perms?? and how long did it take her to grow her hair

  • i'm jeaulous, beautiful hair ! I

  • Shit Liz Muller is fine as hell.

  • Wish I'd never gotten my hair permed. It would be sooo much longer and stronger than it is now. Thinkin about going back natural but idk where to start

  • Im 50% Puerto Rican and my hair is terrible! its so thick and curly and thick!! Im still half white and I cant get hair like that!! My hair just cant grow and be soft and voluminous like that! :(

  • i am sometimes scared to cut my hair because i just want it to grow naturally i don't get perms anymore i just wanted to know if i stop perming my hair will that grow it, i just really don't want to cut it anymore.

  • am white and am watching this her hair is pretty

  • Keep them warm. Basically everyone is like they are for a reason . Just don't stereotype people, because in every race there is always that 1 person that defies that genetic make up.

  • Why are people putting all ethnicities in 1 category? I know a lot of people that are black, white, asian,Hispanic etc.that can't grow their hair past a certain length . So I think it's ridiculous to say that other races besides blacks can have long hair. But on the other hand, black people's genetic make up is not to have long hair, our ancestors who were in HOT AFRICA did not need lots of hair (that is why our hair is naturally kinky & dry)where as the Europeans, Asians needed long, oily hair to

  • hello I don't think that is true what you are saying. I have seen tribes of Africans with long hair and some with short hair because of their culture. Genetics does not have anything to do with it. to me it is an insult for you to say that. It's like it is in African american genetics to be considered less intelligent than other people, when in fact many of those other nations learn from africans. It's not genetics, it's ignorance.

  • @Reneefah7 it's okay that you don't agree with my opinion...but I do believe you are trying to insult my intelligence by saying that my opinion is ignorant. I have a 4.0 GPA so trust me I'm far from ignorant. And if you read my comment clearly you would see that I said every race has someone that "defies that genetic make up". So you're telling me that people's natural hair texture, length, color etc. doesn't come from their parents/backgrounds, but from culture...hmm not to sure about that one.

  • @Reneefah7 I am not trying to downgrade you. I am not trying to insult your intelligence. I am just saying. I believe that your opinion is based on ignorance. That is my opinion. We been taught that black people are inferior to other people, because of our genetic make up. Hair included. No wonder why we perm it and put all manner of chemicals in our hair. Research and Truth will simply destroy that myth that we been taught. 4.0 or not.

  • Also is her hair permed?

  • @babynel13 Yes

  • did this help anyone?

  • trim once a week.............

  • they always use people with healthy long hair

  • hollywood florida?

  • @dewdrops0907 Yes... it's between Fort Lauderdale and Miami

  • wow her hair is so looonggg. If my sister didnt have long hair like hers i would say hers is weave. But, ppl always think my sisters hair is weave because its loong like hers, so i know hers could be real too.

  • 138,564...videos... o _ o

  • Your tips helped. Hair down my back (about 3 inches from waist now) I use also Proclaim Natural 7 Oil to base hair 5 min before apply Silk Element perm/shampoo/conditioner. Thanks much:)

  • I wonder if people play with her hair and mistake it for being weave like people used to do mine. I was so tired of people doing that. I don't even like weave anyway. My whole family had long hair, but everyone cut theirs except me. I love my hair.

  • To be honest black women hair can be just as long take oprah for example she had long thick hair and its all her hair. No black people hair doesn't take long to grow as long as we treat our hair we'll be just fine. So enough with all the negative comments

  • where can iget the products that she uses on her hair 4rm?.

  • Why are people so angry on this comment board? Her hair beautiful & long. Stop being ignorant & hateful. Black women CAN achieve hair like this. It's just that our type of hair requires extra care than other ethnicities. Also, lots of black women get relaxers or stop taking care of their hair all together & start wearing weave, which causes it to break off & look like it's not growing. It is so petty to be so angry about stuff like this.

  • I AM FULL OUT BLACK AND MY HAIR IS DOWWN MY BACK!!

  • @theafroman13 ahahaha yea right! u wish! stop trying to go toe to toe with other cultures who's women are feminine! AND THEY CAN GROW LONG HAIR! stick to rubbing miraclr grow on ur dome all day long..it wont grow an inch! there are 3 hair types! and black hair DOES NOT GROW PAST A CERTAIN LENGTH! it will remain short! its not like other hair textures! GET IT THROUGH UR THICK DOME!

  • WHY DONT THE STYLISH HAVE LONG HAIR LOL

  • ding! her hair is mega long! my hair id down a little passed my shoulders but hers is down her back! i LOVE being black. IM BLACK AND IM PROUD OF IT!!!!!!!!!!! p.s. so caucations say they want our hair because, we can do lots of things to it like braids and etc. also, when we wet our hair it gets really curly.

  • Trim ur hair ppl dont cling on to damaged hair. The logest I've had was just under my breast but I almost never trimmed it, my mom didn't like the idea . Unfortunately my hair grew damaged over time and though it was still nice it had was cut to just past shoulder length .After wanting to start completely fresh I cut off ALL my hair to a pixie cut, though it looked good I'm growing it out now since I only did it to regain healthier hair. It's growing really fast and the texture is very nice.

  • CAN ANYONE HELP ME ..I AM LOOKING FOR A GOOD BLACK HAIR SALON IN CALIFORNIA NEAR LONG BEACH OR NEAR ANAHEIM " NEAR DISNEYLAND' I NEED TO GET A RELAXER..HOPEFULLY SOMEONE CAN HELP...THANX

  • ok..now im really trying to get rid of my dead split ends....i have course but nice hair...but i dont kno what is good for my hair..i started to use carrot oil but idt its working..if i put a picture of how my hair is could you try to help?....i mean i need to know...and how much does these products cost?....ummm..if you like you can send it to my email....katrina_trina22@yahoo.com or you can send it to my youtube...please and thank you.

    ps nice videos

  • Her hair is beautiful but what thing I didn't agree with was using high cost hair products. You don't need high cost products to have healthy long hair. Its not what you put on you're hair its what you do to it that matters most. But I'm glad she is giving good healthy hair tips.

  • What is the name of that shampoo and conditioner again? Where can I find it?

  • The expert lady also has thick course hair? she must of forgot :-

  • i'm wondering would this work with relaxed hair? would that change the results?

  • Her hair is beautiful and long. I wish mine was like that....

  • Where can I buy the morrocan oil and the other products you mentioned?

  • does she have a relaxer?????

answer my question please cuz i cant take relaxers and i want my hair to grow like hers!

  • @RoZeCrUsH94 Yes, she does. There's another helpful video by Expert Village that's called 'Hair Care and Styling Tips: How to Maintain Relaxed Hair" featuring her in the video.

  • I'm black and my hair is down to where the back of my bra ends but I wish my hair was more thicker like this woman lol My hair is naturally curly and is thick in it's curly state but not when I straighten it, why? :(

  • @kissame104 I use to have the same problem too and I noticed I use to set my flat iron on a high temperature. When I set it to 390 degrees my got very tangled. I started setting it on a lower temperature between 300 degrees-350 degrees. It helped a lot. I use Karmin Titanium Professional Hairstyling Iron. It is by far the best flat iron I ever used. It doesn't damage my hair but if I set it on a high temperature it makes my hair look limp/tangled. It also locks in moisture.

  • OMG ! This video was helpful to im

Im 16 years old brasillian and african american female .

my hair is curly and really thick and i want my hair to grow really badly,

i started using relaxers at about 11 because my hair had become to thick to manage.

  • african hair? wtf? why didn't this just say relaxed hair?

  • @brittaneys352

because not all black people have relaxed hair

  • @ohsabss but the video was BASED on relaxed hair ma'am. She said African hair..... and to most ppl we were thinking african TEXTURED hair.

  • @brittaneys352 because they are trying to get black peoples attention telling them that i can grow long and, it probably wasn't relaxed my hair can get that straight by the work of a flat iron

  • wat is this script on the page i cant see the video

  • Nice... The girl's hair is gorgeous..

  • her hair is beautiful

  • im black but if she straightened her hair itss sad i know its her decision and this is not my buisness but seriously? If im wrong im just sending out a message to u black women and children out their dont cry r brag because white people have nice striaght hair.

  • my hair is really long and it always has been but what im trying to figure out my mom wont cut my hair so now my hair is deads second not everyone wants long hair for the ppl that wants long hair its easier to put in cute styles but its harder to manage espaecially if ur black second u got to take care of it or it will fall out! my hair never did that but i need to cut it but my momz wont let me

  • So Roller setting you hair helps because the middle of my hair is so much shorter then the back end !! HELP?

  • @crazichickk97 cause not enough stylist focus on black hair...how many times a day do you see a pantene or any hair commercial with a black womens hair featured? I think we've done enough research on white hair care.

  • omg like i get soooo freaakin tired of dumb people man like not all black poeple have short hair ughhhhh n then like naw she dat aient no weave n i think wit da right treatmentz all black peple can have long hair n also jus b cuz a black girl haz a weave doesnt mean her hair iz short datz a fyi for all yall clue less son of a biotchez

  • Does anyone know anything about Tea Tree Oil? Ppl keep saying apply it to your shampoo and blah, blah, blah, but what I want to know is can you apply it directly to your scalp for a massage. And if you can, is it necessary to wash out afterwards, or can you leave it in all day?

  • @Charity17022 You do NOT want to apply straight tea tree oil to your scalp. That's a big no-no. It's way too strong for that. However, adding a few drops to your shampoo will help your scalp immensly if you find that it itches or produces a lot of dandruff.

While tea tree oil is completely amazing, I wouldn't advise you to massage it into your scalp. It almost always needs to be washed out (plus, it's got a strong scent. No one wants to walk around smelling like that!).

  • @AtaroMorelia Thank you for the advice, but I have 1 more question. If I dilute the tea tree oil with something like Olive oil, would it then be okay to massage into my scalp?

  • @Charity17022

Hm...if you massage it into your scalp with olive oil, then I'd do, say, 1-2 drops of tea tree oil for every tablespoon of olive oil. This stuff is potent! Too much will burn your scalp for sure.

Another thing you could do it add a few drops of tea tree oil in a spray bottle with water or aloe vera juice and then spray it on your scalp/hair...but yeah. If you wanna massage it into your scalp, do not exceed 3 drops if you dilute it with olive oil.

  • where can I get these products? I live in germany

  • Her hair is so gorgeous.

  • Not every black person has the same hair type. Depending on our genetics, our hair can be long or short. Every person has a "stopping point" in which it will stop growing. We are all beautiful...either way.

  • she has pretty hair ((: this lady should do one on young mixed hair <33

  • @hgclove14

Actually mixed or Mulloto people's hair is considered to be of ebony texture as well. It also has like a kinky texture to it as also. But it all depends on the race of the child all together though. So if the child is not mixed with black in them their hair will most likely not be as kinky as a child mixed with black. I know because my niece is mixed with black and white. Even though her hair is long and slightly curly she still has kinky hair...

  • is there a way for our hair not to be greasy. what can i put in my hair to moisturize it and it wont be greasy or super greasy. i wanna touch my hair w/o oil getting on my hands. does any one know????????

  • Thankyou.

I never knew trimming our hair makes them healthier :D

Wow! now., time for scissors *muhahhaa devil laugh* : P

  • I'm commenting not really expecting a response, because i see the dozens of similar comments below. If anyone would please post where to find that shampoo and conditioner she uses in the video that would be great. Thanks.

  • this video was not very informative.

  • wow! she has beautiful hair!!

  • I wish your videos were longer and more in depth, because they are so great!!!

  • wow her hairr is really longg

  • where do we buy the medilio shampoos and conditioner && morrocan oil?

  • were do you get those shampoo

  • Hey can this apply to black british women? I live in England and I really want to grow my hair long like down to my back or waist but the country I live in lacks sunlight so I'm, not so sure if it is possible for me to grow my hair past my shoulders...Help anyone?

  • @lovemeloveyou011 Does sunshine have something to do with hair growth (I guess vitamin D) but you can take supplements and it will still grow, just a little slower....Most people find that their hair grows fastest in the summer.....and not that having long hair is everything and

  • she draping

  • woow sum gd advice

  • I live 10 minutes away from your salon, you may have seen me selling Mary Kay in SALONZ Beauty Suites. Well, this vid is very helpful and maybe sometime I'll come in for a hair trim. I want my hair to grow really long, and FAST! :)

  • less than an inch; probably half an inch tops.

  • just the ends , maybe like half andinch or less then that you want to trim off , from what i seen thats how you should trim it

  • Liz salon is great I just went and she realy knows whats she's talking about.

  • hi, what hair product was that she shown in the video cause i cant seem 2 find it anywhere thx!

  • the products are alfaparf midollo shampoo and cond. (the green set) you can find that online and Moroccan oil its the name of the line so you can just type that in and it will show up everywhere.

  • She has beautiful hair.

  • geez why people cant accept a black women having long hair...i thought god made everybody the same way....some haterz ... their such pussy suckerzzzzzz...

  • @fashionesta AMEN

  • i agree with u fashionesta27 umm do u know the name of the product she was talking about in the video?

  • @fashionesta27 Hello,

I just wanted to take the time to share Jesus Christ with you and His love for you if you don't know about it already. The Bible tells us to repent of our sins and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of our lives and we will be saved. Living a life for Christ is very rewarding. I pray that you can share in this joy. God Bless you.

  • @fashionesta27 WHY CANT AFRICAN AMERICANS EMBRACE THEIR SHORT LENGTH NAPPY HAIR! LIKE THEY DID IN THE 60'S! stop making a fool of yourself and acting like you can have hair like other ethnicities! AFRICAN AMERICAN HAIR IS A CERTAIN TEXTURE/LENGTH! why are all weaves from korea or idia or russia?? I never seen weave hair made from black women, cuz its impossible to grow! even chris rock knows this! STOP COMPTETING WITH OTHER ETHNICITIES! U DONT HAVE LONG HAIR! LEAVE IT TO LATINOS/ARABS/EUROPEAN

  • @markee871 that is something wrong to say, im black and used to have long hair, but i cut mine, but im growing it back out. blacks can grow long hair, its just some black dont take care of their hair like other races. our hair is difficult to take care of and it grow slower, but it can still be as long as whites and other races.

  • also a tip: spray some water on youre scalp and head with hair every day. Youre is is the same as flowers they need sun anf water to grow. Thats why in summer youre hair is healthier and better. And yes its her real hair, I know many black women with very long hair!

  • @bloodisyummmy

    you're hella fuckin ignorant

    hoe, u got tracks

    XD

  • what products do u recomend? im using oilve oil.. is that good??

  • I use the midollo and it really is good it keeps your hair super strong!

  • This video wasn't very informative. She could have been much more specific with the various kinds of products that promote hair growth, as well as other ways to tend to the hair as it grows.

  • I know right!

  • Yeah, I think she could make another one, but with more info...it would be very helpful.

  • @Witchy1976 she pretty much did name some products

  • lupsie19, you're right...she did. But I was kinda hoping for some tips and little tidbits to help us out in conjunction to the use of the above products, you know? Currently my hair is braided and I have to keep braiding for about a year in order for my hair to grow (gee wiz). I was wondering if there were other things that we could do along with the products. Then it's like, what if you can't find the products, you know? Because all beauty supplies differ from each other, lol.

  • if you dont want to have to keep braiding, just put it in a bun all the time, just something to keep your ends protected. keep your hair clean and try not to use heavy greases cuz they clog your pores and retain a lot of dirt. i use this light oil called kemi organics oil.

  • how to grow "african hair".. that's what she said..correct?

  • Yep, that's what she said alright, lol. I think she meant African American hair.

  • Does even know where I can buy the products, because what able grow my hair out too.

  • Her hair is so pretty. She said that her hair is coarse. You cannot even tell that it is coase. So silky and shiny.

  • dat wont really helpfull i agree.... bt DANG does dat gurl have nice hair!!!!!!!!!

  • no help at all

  • my hAIR IS SHORT, AND I WANT IT AT LEAST MEDIUM LENGTH BUTS IT JUST SO DRY!!! AND I CAN'T HELP BUT TO FLAT IRON MOST OF THE TIME BECAUSE ITS CRAZY

  • Im no professional but I dont think there is nothing wrong with flat ironing your hair every day if u have the products to protect it from the excessive heat and a REAL CERAMIC flat iron CERAMIC not those cheat flat irons from your discount beauty supply store...Treat your hair trim your ends and eat healthy and vitamins helps...and thats what Liz teaches her custo she can only do so much it you want your hair to to grow you have to take care of your body aswell

  • im not a professional but a few things that worked for me along the way were satin caps, raw coconut oil, and sown in weaves. honestly black women can grown long hair thats why a lot of us do but the ones who dont got perms too early and it started a cycle of damage. perms are not healthy! my hair is natural completely and i can wash and blow dry and its bone straight. we have to go back to basics and start fresh the right way

  • does she wear a relaxer?

  • Her hair is natural. I know...she has some lovely mane.

  • did you guys not notice she said she uses morocan oil and lisbo shampoo and conditioner COME ON GUYS PAY ATTENTION BEFORE YOU SAY SHE DIDNT GIVE YOU ANY TIPS

  • well really i'm a hair care person in my eye and heart some hAIR products it really dapends on the person like wat kind of hair they got or somethig like that really

  • I dont want you to think im bashing you but reread what you wrote and try writing it again cause I dont know what your trying to say

  • Aphogee doesn't do a thing for my damaged hair. I recommend Dudley's protein treatment or Aveda.

  • This video is stupid and not helpful at all. All she says is basically, " In order to grow your hair long like this girl in the chair, you have to take care of it. Use conditioner and just take care of it and take care of it some more...oh and trim it too, then it will grow long." -end of video- I could have told you that general knowledge crap!lmao

  • like wearing weaves is that bad im withe female and i love it . always someone try to make everything about race.

  • Why are these videos so short? It makes it so pointless.

  • im telling you, i hate that about her videos

  • nice

  • ok some of u ppl are pissing me off.

    1) If your hair grows to fast cut, its simple and honestly no one really cares cause this video isnt on "fast growing hair" so dont try to show off

    2) ITS HER REAL HAIR. Stop trying to be arrogant assholes thinking that all black people wear weave. other races wear weave too so dont get it twisted

  • You are so right. Once someone sees an African American with straight hair they automatically call it a weave. Every time I see a pic or video of Beyonce, several people comment "I really like her weave in this one" It's ludicrous! Some people have the money needed to get their hair the way they want.

  • You crazy beyonce wears a weave. You just don't know the difference

  • What you're saying is true for the most part but Beyonce wears lacefront wigs/ the most expensive ones look more real than real hair. Also there are other races that have really stringy sparse hair and I think they should try to invest in a good weave rather than walking around looking like the crypt keeper.

  • lol

  • I agree with you people do feel black women can't have long hair. But Beyonce is wearing a weave most of the time, as long as it looks good no problem here. : )

  • @Rain0nM3 . I completely agree with you and fashionsta27, i could not have said it any better. It's sad how so many people think stereotypically i thank GOD i am not one. FREE MIND!!

  • you shuld only trim when needed not on a set schedul

  • were are you located in hollywood

  • just look up Liz's Hair Design on google and make sure to put Hollywood Florida

  • why all the race talk on a hair forum?Someone must be jealous. this is silly.Blk people whether african ,caribbean biracial, latino whatever are all over the world in numerous shades.

  • where can i get that shampoo and conditioner for my own hair..ty

  • This may be a stupid question, but I have to ask. I am white and I have long hair, but it breaks very easily and is easily damaged. Would products designed for African American women work in any way, shape or form for a white gal?? If not, anyone have any tips?? Thanks! :)

  • I would suggest the 'Xexxus' humectress line. It puts moisture into your hair and will stop the dryness/breakage. Hth!

  • Thanks!!! :)

  • Do u trim it? U shud trim it every 6/8 wks. Stop coloring it & don't use heat on it. (only about once a week)

  • in my opinion, not so much. i used to use ethic hair products on my hair and truth is, it's not made for your texture most of the time. if your hair is breaking easily you have breakage and need to do a protein treatment. i would recommend aphogee, which although used by many african americans with damaged hair is actually for all hair types that are damaged.

  • I'm actually a customer of Liz and the products that she use is for damage hair whether no matter what race and she specialize n black hair but she also has white custo....But like i said its the product its design to repair damage hair...

  • It depends on what type of products. For damaged hair you will need a protein strengthening treatment once a week and put your hair in a shower cap for the protein treatment to penetrate further. Then you shampoo with products for damaged hair and condition. Do this until you see improvement then you can go back to your regular hair care routine. You have to use products specific to your hair needs. You will also need a good trim to get rid of all the split ends.

  • gorgeous hair!!!!!! My inspiration!

  • What about mixed people???

  • Olive oil is good for hair too.

  • where is moraccan oil sold

  • go back in the video ...

  • it's not a weave but she said that she had previously pressed it... so when it's straightened people might assume it's a weave

  • stop h8tin obviously itz not

  • dont h8te shes trying to help u out

  • ur a hater!!!

  • stop bein a hater its not a weave just because shes black dont mean she cant have long hair

  • i so agree....im black nd i nevr had weave in my hair

  • It's not a weave, she just said in the video that she pressed her hair, and this same lady is in a couple of their other videos "How to Maintain Relaxer" where you can see that its her real hair. My boss has hair this length, and she gets majorly pissed when someone asks her if its a weave

  • i just stopped using heat on my hair 2 months ago except for hair salon visits every 2 weeks and stopped getting relaxants about a month ago im wondering how long will it take to see improvement n the growth of my hair and are mini braids a good idea instead of cornrows?? should i braid it from root til the ends or can i leave the ends down n just braid from the root to the middle of the strands?? help plzz!

  • You have to take care of your hair in braids. It's a big misconception that you don't have to do anything. Braids can get dirty, and can cause damage if braided too tight around the hairline. Any natural style is good.

  • she sounds JUST like jlo.
