Unfortunately, Hollywood can not tolerate films like this any more, mostly because they are too good. The atmosphere and intelligent stories of movies from the 80s and first half of the 90s are too much of a risk for greedy producers and too much of a challenge for an average brainwashed man. @code2high She wasn't "brutally raped", it was an attempted rape and they shot the guy afterwards because he mouthed off. They didn't do the "right thing". Robbing and assaulting innocent people because you're too much of a coward to face the consequences of your actions isn't "the right thing". If Louise actually had balls, she'd have turned herself in and taken full responsiblity for the murder she committed.. Instead, she gets her friend killed, all out of a selfish desire to avoid jail.

I was just out at the Canyon a couple weeks ago. A young guy 22 had accidentally driven off the cliff at Watchtower Point and plunged 200 feet down. He crashed but somehow crawled out and was found bleeding in a heap on the road - he survived, amazingly. About 50 people a year die falling in, I understand...
