.357 Sig Ranger T looked the best to me.. Obviously with the limited information presented.

what about a 5.7×28mm over a 10mm? Thanks!
WolfClan76 1 month ago
If the 10mm isn't 180gr. and at least 1300fps then it isn't a true 10mm its a down graded 40.

10mm Auto is to .357SIG as .338 Lapua is to .300WM...either way, tango down, and ain't standing up again...

@WolfClan76 10mm over .357 SIG.
andreleger2001 5 months ago
well I guess the ballistic plate worked, but I know that would hurt like a bitch getting hit by those rounds even with armor on.

@andreleger2001 ok? So which did better ten or sig
grapeapevine 6 months ago
@grapeapevine Hmm, neither penetrated it. I still have the plates. I will look at that one a little closer to try to tell which one did better (somewhat subjective). Off the top of my head I would say 10mm.

I would like to see 357 sig vs 9mm.

I just did similar testing last weekend using steel plate. 1/8 inch band saw.
.40 left a mark. SIG357 and standard 357 magnum left huge dents.
When I used my Hot Buffalo Bore 1700 fps .357 magnum, I had penetration
I then brought out my .44 magnum and had penetration

axisofoil2 1 year ago
@axisofoil2 No, but I have secured additional plates for testing. I will do one with FMJ rounds as well as a few other requests.

@excelerater Posted that one just now.
Too bad I don't live near by, I'd let ya pop it with a 454 just to see what'd happen.
Also made up some barnes banded solid 5.7x28mm loads. Should zip through that with no problem.
