I am friends with a guy who is to all people who know him the most dark and cynical personality they and I have ever known. When the news came on tv that Chris Reeve died it was the first time I saw him tear up. When I asked him why, he answered "I knew about his accident and he was in the news a lot, but him dying says something about us all. If even superman can die..." I'll never forget it.

I think alot has been done for Stem Cell research and Christopher Reeve did alot to pave the was for treatment that has helped alot of people.Something he and his family should be proud off.Hopefully it will eventually lead to a breakthrough one day were people can maybe even walk again.Lets hope the same thing can be done for Cancer,Aids and other incurable diseases like Alzheimers.
