@shadowofchaos725 The items have pictures, so that's not a problem, especially when I have played the Xbox version more than once. The artes...shouldn't be a problem, but I might get confused with rita's when she gets a few more. Eh...the skills are going to be horrible for me. any ideas?
Ahhhh! I just ordered this online and I'm IMPATIENT to start playing again. I already played, beat, and thoroughly enjoyed Tales of Vesperia on the Xbox 360, but the additional content on the PS3 makes me craving for a re-play. It's been years since I played. I'll be watching your playlist for a refresher and to quench my thirst until it arrives in the mail. :)
So a small question, how much Japanese knowledge do you have? You seem to have a decent amount.
@EinXecty Yeah, I'd say decent enough to translate the untranslated scenes. I COULD probably translate everything if I wanted to, but why spend hours doing that if I can just use the Xbox360 script for things already done for me? :P
Decent enough for grammar and stuff like that... Kanji, not so much. That's why I have a lot of help from the computer, looking up stuff.
shadowofchaos725 I know what anime you're referring to I didn't realize it was "her" at first voicing Estellise. I Plan to get the PS3 Port once a group of fan translators are done with their English translation. Patch won't require hacking the PS3 I'll make due with the xbox 360 version but won't downlaod it until the TOV: First strike anime comes out for U.S. in 2012
Ok, usually I think that the Japanese Voice actors do just as good of job, if not better than the english ones. But Raven sounds SOOOO much better in English. That's just my opinion at least....which means absolutely next to nothing. Nice vid, man. Keep up the splendid work
Nice, it feels a bit odd watching a playthrough but in Japanese. But on one good note Elstelles sounds cuter in Japanese, what is it with female Japanese voice actors sounding cuter than American ones anyways? :P
I'm going to take a rndom guess at estelles voice actor: Is it the same person who voices nagisa in Clannad? to me it sounds like it.
Ha when you said that the person who did estelles voice in japanese was from a anime i instantly thought clannad and now you name estelle nagisa, That answers my question (Clannad is such a nice and heart warming anime)
Man I haven't heard your voice in forever, haha. I like the little Rey chibi at the bottom right, too. And of course the subtitles and subtitle commentary, haha.
But man, this really makes me want to play this game. I need a PS3 for ToGF and ToV... and then hack it to play the translation patch, once that finally comes out.
if i get this game, what is the best advice you can give me for a novice knower of japanese?

@DDTPZX Memorize which artes and items heal what. That's probably the most important thing.

@DDTPZX Aselia, the Tales wiki. Helps with PS3 exclusive skills as well. That's what I did when I didn't know much Japanese.

@MegaChrika I love the English Dub. Moreso than any English dub in any game or anime.
But I still like Kosuke Toriumi's Yuri over Troy Baker's.
