  • there seems to be a trend in all the chinese hater comments. they are all Vietnamese people.

  • Chinese Threat運十

  • yeah.. made in china....lol

  • Lol, most of the companies that bought this where owned by the Chinese government. That is just sad. Its obvious propaganda. The Chinese can't build toys properly.

  • ye and china will be in the head line of all the news because chinese made commercial plane start to crash one by one killing more people

  • More realistic assumption is russia has failed to get foreign jet plane orders for decades then china has actively transferred russian airplane technology in the last 30 years. So welcome to reality.

  • China still has a looooooooooooooong way to go. but it's a good start!

  • @Seasue china go go go

  • Funny how people call Boeing Boeing, Airbus Airbus but Comac China.

  • Look at all the mindless comments about China's airliners! I sense a lot of jealousy because that country is rapidly climbing to the top! Most of the headlines I've read about air accidents this year happened on Western built planes. Of course human error and even shoddy maintenance have lot to do with it but with all factors being the same, Chinese built airliners are just as safe and capable as any Western (Boeing, Airbus) counterpart.

  • It looks like a replica of the 787! Inside the plane - the flight deck is also similar to the 787!

  • CHINA'S PRODUCTS ARE CRAP

  • @mcpogi4u

Then why EU buy so much CRAP?

  • @mcpogi4u you r stupid to buy it ...we just get your money . and own your country ....hey ....worker ....you need work all day

  • @mcpogi4u

that's because you poor guy cannot afford the best goods with higher price

  • @mcpogi4u Say that in 15-20 years when Airbus & Boeing start laying workers off because China will have taken away a chunk of their business.

  • IM NOT FLYING THAT PLANE, I DONT WANT TO RISK MY LIFE IN CHINA MADE PLANES

  • @mcpogi4u

    Oh my f*cking god....

As if china comes from another planet.

When it comes down to something serious, like planes, china will be serious with them. If they are dealing with toys, well, obviously they will make them shitty. there is a difference

  • @mcpogi4u

yea you can walk all you want.

  • if you love your life don't risk it in china made aircrafts, ...

  • @mcpogi4u Say whatever you want. If they make a good product forget about the nationality: China will be a headache for boeing and airbus

  • @mcpogi4u

Is that why the English kicked your ass all over ireland because of your stupid mindset?

  • No NO NO Airbus and Boeing will always be kings of the skys

  • Comment removed

  • @kennyduong1: how shameless your Vietnamese are!!!!!!

    Go get a life looser!!!!

  • @kennyduong1

Chinese are making Airplanes now and Vietnamese still very busy sucking on Bananas.

  • "home grown"?? its just a regurgitated DC-9

  • @slh950 hahah it is fly by wire, not shitty dc9

  • @tillaylomo naturally its updated. put a new stereo in a ford focus, its still a ford focus with a new steroe

  • No wonder the Chinese planes ae cheap, they don't fly on their own, they hitch up a bunch of pigeons to them and get a guy with a dragon costume on scare them into flying. This is quite an advancement for them because before that they were putting peasants in gallies and told them to row, but try as they might they couldn't get off the ground..

  • @JediSawyer are you fucking retard

  • oh crap why does china fell they hav eto put out evrybody we are fine with the 2 comapnys we have now and what s bad about this is that there arnt eough airline comapnys out there to buy a pane from 3 companys witch mean one of them are bound to go out of bussnise and i have feeling it will be either boeing or airbus and china yet again will have there glory.......

  • This is no surprise, a lesson for all companies outsourced to China, they will lose their business to China eventually.

  • It is a Chinese-US cooperation. A lot of the know-how comes from US-companies like General Electric.

For costumers more competition is only good, the only problem may be that Boeing/Airbus do not get really big support by the state (Airbus cheap loans; Boeing hidden subventions) and China does not even pretend to care about WTO rules and just finances the development of C919, so that could create some tensions.

  • @AustrianAtheist The PRC government is currently on a "nation-building program" (for lack of a better term). Aircraft manufacturing is a big ticket sector and one that, apart from being an important source of tax revenue, promises to help China improve its military capabilities - or at least gain the ability to manufacture military aircraft just as good as anything that exists in the US or Europe. Finally, the global prestige that comes with making big airliners is hard to resist...

  • @AustrianAtheist "Boeing/Airbus do not get really big support by the state". Boeing makes more than 50% of its revenues from military contracts. Lagardere and Sepi (EADS) are state owned companies, and Daimler now may consider to sell its stake to the german government. I don´t know any important aerospace manufacturer that is not supported by the government in one way or another. Too risky business.

  • @tomhum33 Exactly

  • @tomhum33 It's called a honey trap. Pay big sums of money to any foreigner myopic enough to go to China with the expectation of absolute profit margins and let them set up their business. Meanwhile the Chinese learn everything they need to know and - before anyone knows it - the locals are making their own copies of the original at a lower price.

The Chinese are currently recovering from their "century of shame" and leaving the US and Britain behind in the process `-^

  • @hananokuni2580 well if you like china so much, than stop free loading in america and go to china, if you like it so much.

  • @char1eston Right now the US is on top of the world. Question is, can we stay there and, if so, how? Let's not take our greatness for granted.

The Chinese do build good aircraft, even if they are not as sophisticated as Western ones. Still doesn't guarantee that more people will line up to buy PRC planes than will line up to buy US/Euro ones. If the quality means profitability in the long run, the initial price of a US/Euro plane won't be an issue.

  • @tomhum33 Exactly (2).
