i looooove a smooth, versatile man like van hunt....the man just loves all types of music and he wants to explore every type of sound...a true musician!!!!
true story, but like the title of this album "What were you hoping for?" he is a dynamic artist and every album left the gate open to his metamorphic style that separates him from the mainstream bufoonery we are subjected to. This album is a departure, and honestly I'm not big on it but I appreciate the change and the songs are growing on me slowly.
Some people like cookie cutter artists: same sound on every album. I, on the other hand, LOVE an eclectic artist who gives me a different sound on each album. And thats Van Hunt.
I was a BIG fan of Van Hunt and I still am, but this CD is absolutely a DEPARTURE from what I have come to love and expect of his talents!! This isn't for me....! Thank God for YouTube. I almost brought this CD.

@TOSTunes I agree... that's why I LOVE Van Hunt. He's a true artist. Too many cookie cutter artists draw me to artists like Van even more
