@0IrieTrev0 please explain how because i sure as hell dont see any abuse either in this video or this field of work, marine biologists help clean the ocean, protect the habitats, and study animals for further knowledge, its not like theyre using the animals as lab rats and poking them with sticks or injecting them with anything, theyre just swimming with the animals WATCHING them and learning about theyre lifestyles, habits, diets, ect. actually know what your guessing about beforehand next time

its good tht u want to be a marine biologist, but remember the mammals u showed in this video will be a small part of what u do, prepare for kelp forests, coral reefs, DEEP sea diving, endangered species fish farming and many many more jobs. also know tht u will be working with amphibians animals as well, if u also go freshwater then u have a completely different ball game, prepare to work with any and all animals that have something to do with water. PS:yes this includes crocodiles.

Hi, most marine biologist when their older and get a job don't study big animals like whales or sharks. they mostly study small things. Marine Biology is a alot of work, and college is not cheap. So keep your heads in the books!

this has been my dream since I was about 8. And I will acomplish it, what ever it takes. By the way, marine biology isnt all YAY! DIVING! DIVING! all the time, their is lab work involed, alot of it. Also you usaly have to start off with simple life forms. Or the qality of water, e.g. how acidic is the water?how big is the population of srimps are.

swimmer got that right. but a marine biologist can also pick a part of any ocean. for example, i want to study costal new england. and i want to go to maine martime acadamy. but, my buddy wants to study the great barrier reef and go to a marine biology collage in hawaii. the reason for this is because i love animals such as crabs, coastal fish and shore birds. but my friend likes colorful reef fish, coral and sharks. it is what YOU want to do!!!!

actually camapetulon it is Science that deals with the animals and plants of the sea and estuaries and with airborne and terrestrial organisms that depend directly on bodies of saltwater for food and other necessities. Marine biologists study the relations between ocean phenomena and the distribution and adaptations of organisms.

marine biology is the study of aquatic plants and plancton etc. you very seldomly ever deal with dolphins and killer whales if you wanted to study such animals you should become a zooologist my brother is training to be one but i am more interested in marine biology

You know what, some of the best marine biologists don't even live by the coast? I wanna become a marine biologist 2 and I live in nourth Texas and was born in Kansas. Matter of fact I am fasinated by the sea by just seeing pictures of it. Because I have never even see the ocean before. I am going to my first trip ever this summer. Besides marin biology is just not about whales and dolphins. You have to know common sklls such as Chemistry, Tech, math, and of coarse just regular science.

well you have an interest in the baasic marine/mammel creatures, marine biology is more about discovering new and amazing creatures, maybe you would be more interested in oceanography, or maybe being a trainer at a zoo...

if you want to be a marine biologist i wouldnt expect being envolved with these animals, If it is the aquatic mammals that inspire you then i think you should look into zoology, being i marine biologist you do have jobs/courses with marine mammals (eg. sea turtles-mainly because they are on the boundries of being extinct)but an average job for a marine biologist is measuring/monitering endangered species and you do alot of work with plankton & other marine bacteria
