The reason that Palestinians don't get a lot of sympathy here in America is because some of them kill civilians in suicide bombings. This is not to say that they aren't deserving of sympathy---they certainly are. But Americans don't like to see suicide bombings. It overshadows whatever concessions the Palestinians are seeking. It makes them look like crazed terrorists. I know they're not all guilty of such acts, but that's how our news media portrays them.

I see it. For decades I've been shaking my head whenever I see the injustice (from both sides). Every time we try to work out a peace treaty, somebody has to ruin it. It seems like some people enjoy the insanity. They need to have two states because they don't have the maturity to share the land. I know that most people are sensible.
