after another busy night tearing up the Fatherland, it was tucked up in bed by nine watching Labelle on TV while sipping prune juice before lights out at ten
@desvidrrs if you BUY the dvd its good, you could try to get Lowell to rise from the dead and tell him that his vocals arent good enough for ya but im sure it would end the same, him dead and still everybody in the band doin so much cocaine that nobody would care who or what you think..
@desvidrrs and if you were in front of me TALKIN SHITE about the 'abnoxious' vocals of 'the drummer' i would punch u in the face...he was a really good guy and drummer...
Yeah great video I live in Toronto Canada and there are a lot of Feat fans here They didn't come up here till the early 90's Still great but I sure wish I could have seen them with Lowell Man that guy wrote song great lyrics I miss him
One of the all-time great jam bands. I saw them in '78 at Siena College near Albany, NY, never realizing it would be my last chance to see Lowell George. At least he beat the Robert Johnson curse (28IF) by 7 years.
id like to dedicate this song on facebook to my good old friend Carl Smith. one of his favorite sayings was 'skin it back', he pased away in 2001. Miss him dearly.
This is SWEET! CLASSIC LOWELL and RITCHIE! Bustin' out ... Just wish that Fatman wasn't so quickly faded out at the end...but hey...S'all GOOOOOOD!!!!!
GOD Bless the folks at Rock Palace and WDR for preserving these tracks, in real good quality. Check out the Rainbow and Thin Lizzy WDR performances. Heil WDR!.
Saw em in '78 at the Capitol Theatre, Passaic NJ.... Bonnie came on stage.... best concert I have EVER seen to date. Even other Feat concerts. I love these guys...
@crayhead you're right man. this is the absolute tits. i just saw them for my 21st birthday a few weeks ago. got my picture taken with bill payne. they are still rocking man. great show.

Legends of 70s rock n roll but Barrere really should have left the singing duties to LG. Fantastic sound mind you.

What happend to Lowel's vocals, slide guitar and percussion?
The songs are smothered by loud keyboard, drums and obnoxious
vocals of the drummer. Sad indeed, as this must be the sharpest video
ever produced of Lowel and the band.
What was the live sound mixer doing?
Could the sound be remixed for the video?
