Just scratching the surface.
You can make a nice sum online working only a few hours. But then you realize you need to track business expenses to pay taxes, manage server resources, diversify risk, work out backup plans, plan for the future, etc.
Don't believe anyone that tells you this is a simple business you can run in your spare time. This is not a 9-5 job, entrepreneurs work long hours if they want to stay in business.
Excellent points Yaro. I've made similar mistakes and I think that it comes (in my case) from wanting to do everything when you first start out. Now that I'm outsourcing, and therefore spending money to do so, I'm much more aware of what the 20% is that will bring me the results I want, without needing someone to do the 80% that will just waste time.
