i had a spectacular fail on 3-1 the other day: i went down one of them piranha plant pipes, it led me to one of them coin bonus things and i came out at a warp zone. it took me to world 1. i got back to 3-1 in around 15 minutes, bounced off that springy thing at the end and went over the flag. thinking i had discovered some kind of glitch, i carried on going until i found the same warp zone as before. back to world 1. i love mario games.

It seems like when I don't play mario for a while, I all of a sudden want to play it really badly; but then when I finally do play it, I keep dying, and get so pissed off after 100 or so times of losing, I just quit, and don't play it for a few months...the cycle of super mario... XD

how are you jumping that high? it seems higher than normal

Luigi can jump a lot higher than Mario can - he also slides around a lot more; 'tis the only thing that differentiates the two :)

Well as my channel says I'm going to be completing The Lost Levels [it took AGES to do some of the later levels]...whether or not I'll do the letter levels i.e. bonus levels of it, we'll see, but I'll probably complete the main part to start off with, and maybe move on then come back to it later.

I'll probably do the other Mario's in the All-Stars package afterwards too. Still quite shy about adding commentary, hence the delay of World 4!

That said I'm also looking for a cheap version of a Mac TV Tuner card so that I can record a few PS2/PS1 games too in the future. Galaga for PS1, anyone? =)
