@giltunes To be fair, without employing proper mechanics of the language you're writing in; can you demean anyone? The film was very different in the thriller genre, and deserves to be commended for being original and telling a story with patience. Patience, which is a credit to story telling that has long been forgotten. While it diverged greatly from the novel, the book wasn't known for its action sequences either because there weren't very many. The film is superb and I welcome more like it.

Also, numerous tribes live in India, and over twenty major languages are spoken there. You say 'Indian' is a more encompassing idea than 'American'? Lastly, turn to history, 'American' has been a much more unified idea and culture than you would think. It has lost some of this essence, but still persists.
