633, 666 and 667 are the three AC6000CW's with YN2 paint. 651 is now in YN3. The remotored unit is the 606, and I believe the 680 is scheduled to go in to be remotored in the future.
ok I must be missing something because I have photographed that very engine before I dont see any differnce from the other paintscemes on there it looks like any other CSX I have photographed what am I overlooking here
Normally AC6000CWs have the CSX letters on its side in yellow paint. But the CSX letters on this one is blue on the side because its in the yn2 paintscheme instead of the bc2 paintscheme.
oh ok thanks thats very interesting I see what you mean now I am not around the CSX enough to really notice the diddernce we have the same boring UPRR here and BNSF and on occasion we get CSX locomotives..I do however get back east when I do trips on the Amtrak on a private car we travil on CSX lines alot but that I did not remember so thanks for the information...
If that engine was a female and if it had a vagina... I'd bang it.

Ok for one that paint is common on most of the AC6000CWs, its been around since the locomotive came out in the 90s.

So say a C-40-8 BWH would mean 4axle widecab with hep? As used for Amtrak?

Doesn't look bad honestly. But I prefer the BC2 rather than YN2 or YN3.

There are a few painted like this, 666 is another one. Probabally a turbo fire caused a repaint and they just did the standard blue csx lettering

pengapop12 3 years ago
YN3 unit is 651.Not sure what the so called "ES60AC" is
trainutjob 3 years ago
thanx ill look it up
pengapop12 3 years ago
the es60ac is a gevotized version of the ac6000, kinda like the es44dc replaced the dash 9, and the es44ac replaced the ac4400cw
pengapop12 3 years ago
@pengapop12 The ES60AC isn't an official designation, it's just a re-engined AC6000.
