this is one of my favorite scenes of the movie. It would have been great if they included this ending in the live-action version, but instead the dogs just get rescued by the London police. I was very disappointed that the ending was changed for the live-action one.

Same here, I loved this scene as a kid and still do but I too was dissapointed when it wasn't in the live action version, atleast it makes some sence though considering they'd need a much bigger budget and it'd probably take longer.
