This is the original. I Have it on vinyl, it sounds just like this. Its weird that there is a dispute about it.Gougeuos stuff laid the foundations for Progressive House etc.

agreed prime, i was at back yard pub in haad rin, ko phan-gan when i 1st heard this back in 93' and they were also spinning sasha's gig with MC Ribs and pure love, wicked times, respec to robbie for postin dis classic..:)
nice tune and yeah i remember snowballs, they just got stronger and stronger, remember phaze 4s as well and brown biscuits and not 4getting doves happy days back then !!!
Yeah glad it does. Thanks for what you heard about less images making it sound better. I can make the videos with a lot of images but cannot fade the images into eachother too much. That way the sound is better
I remember first hearing this and I thought it was Massive Attack. This mix is better than the album version I think. Sounded awesome in a club back in 92!
This is the "Vocal Mix" of 1995 released "Release The Pressure" so it can't be from 1995 ;-)
But this video runs much to fast than the orignal track!!! This is 7:59 long and hear only 7:34
But your opinion this is Massive Attack is not so bad - Earl Sixteen, the guy who bad the vocals of this track, also produced with "The Mad Professor" and Massive Attack ;-)
Yeah it runs a little bit faster than it should. But its clubland! Anyway I absolutely swear that this version was out in 1992. I even have it on a tape from a club back then and it says so on the label of the record.
Oh yes! Great to hear this old beauty again in all its glory! I loved the first wave of prog house which Leftfield pioneered back in the early 90s. So superior to anything released today in this genre.
And yes this is definitely the 1992 mix, I remember it well prefer it to the version they included on Leftism. Anyone who doubts this should get hold of a copy of Sasha's classic mix from Universe June '92. Some great tunes on there including this one. ;) 5*

@proDeutschland Look at the other video on YouTube with the Vocal Mix (in bar on the right), that shows the label. The label clearly says 1992. The key is lower, though, and the speed seems lower, so I'm guessing it has been played at a higher speed here. That would also explain why the running time is shorter.
who dont remember the snowballs just before the great callys & luv doves ahh they were the days

excellent - by far the best version. And no vocals from Papa "Me hit her with me ring and dem can't prove a ting" Dee. The wife-beating bastard.
