  • This must be my anthem when i run late for school

  • I have one suggestion for anthem songs. Use a Flag with an Angel and then use Breaking Benjamin- Anthem of the Angels.

  • Anthhem of Somalia

  • If this was a country called Pirates of the Caribbean I would so be a citizen of it! This anthem everybody would know by heart and play all the time. It has no words though so people would just make sounds: DA-DA-DUM-DUM DA-DA-DUM-DUM -DA DA DUM DUM DU DU DUM DUM DU DU DU DU DUDU DUM!

  • its not long enough!

  • There were some pirates who dreamed of establishing some kind of pirate republic in the New World. It's really a quite strange idea, but in fact during the Golden Age of Piracy, things were more democratic aboard some pirate ships than in any government.

  • That's the flag of 'Calico Jack' Rackham. It's by far the best looking pirate roger. Still, what's this doing with all these national anthems?

  • @Vonwar01 yes it's BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The PotC was a real collection of pirates based on the Tortuga island north of Haiti, they were the number one plundering force of buccaneers for a long time, too bad they didn't have a hollywood orchestra back then.

  • @Ascensiam You make it sound like the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' were some kind of coherent society. Tortuga was a hive of pirate activity in the earlier days of buccaneering, but it was certainly no permanent home to freebooters. The pirates in the Caribbean were also going all around the world, like in the Indian Ocean and off East Africa.

Tortuga was later overshadowed by New Providence as the base of piracy in the Caribbean.

  • @Gustaveleloup I merely mentioned them as a collection, and that they were active for a long time. No kind of ''society'' or set time was mentioned because i know it is relative.

I agree with the rest of your post.
