  • No he is not; u see moderat islam is a term we in the west has invented; most muslims support sharia law. There r some muslims who don't want to kill homosexuals or kill people for apostazy; but if they can not distance themself from political islam then it is there problem i have no responsability for them.

  • TF is struggling, he doesn't know much about Islam, doesn't have a clear target, he needs a poster boy (like VenomFangX was creationists/ID). I think, no matter how much science one knows you still remain human and everything that comes with it. It feels like he's got some emotional motivation clouding his judgment but he's refusing to accept this possibility in himself..

  • boooorringg

  • @Jazzh13 Suggestion noted and used to wipe my ass. Damn, those burritos do hit the spot.

  • The biggest threat posed by Christianity is their nonsense being taught in schools. The threat posed by Islam as it is CURRENTLY practiced world wide is far greater. I don't think that pointing out inconsistencies in the quran is going to change the minds of so many followers of this barbaric ideology. It will take the kind of ridicule thunderf00t has shown in his latest videos to bring about a significant change.

  • Its hard for me to see Tf00t at fault and not see everyone else implicated as well. If we want him to now say exactly which Muslims he is talking about then shouldn’t we admit that we didn’t care which Christians he was going after before? If we want him to admit generalizing lets admit our own double standard while we are at it. There is no shame in wanting to fix things, but denying they were ever broken is a poor platform from which to start.

  • absolutely excellent points -- I'm still subscribed to Tf, but at the moment it's a combination of watching the train-wreck, and hoping that he'll go back to the style of videos that he used to make: I don't care if he deconstructs Islam, I mirrored his "is Islam a hate-crime" video because I thought he made some excellent points. But you're right; it's the way he's doing it. He's not deconstructing it with fine tools, like he's done in the past, he's going at it with a sledge hammer.

  • What??

No Kiss Kiss Hug Hug for Thunderf00t?

Different delusions require different approaches, force isn’t always the answer, sometimes you need a hammer!

  • Oh, great, another ignorant moron trying to jump on the bandwagon of hate, who ends up just showing his idiocy.

If you're going to make a point, don't be dead-fucking-wrong about it, and don't be an idiot.

  • I'm tired of morons that come on these kinds of videos and all they do is call the person that made the video an "islamosympathizer" or some such retarded nonsense.

    Nice video, terrarising. Thumbs up.

  • there was a big difference oallright between creationists and islamists..:

    -creationists are relativly harmless

    -where islamists are actually dangerous...

why dont you come clean mate?

its easy let me show you..

    -"im a islamophille"

  • @amet1980 Ignoring your dearth of proper grammar and punctuation, let's get a few things clear.

One, your comment contains assertions that you can't back up in civilized debate.

Two, the idea that you can determine whether or not I'm an "islamophile" after a single five and a half minute video is absurd.

Three, after looking at your channel, I would guess that anyone slightly more thoughtful than you would be a "muslim lover."

Thanks for playing, do not pass go and do not collect $200.

  • @terrarising ...

lastly, if the point of focus was a latin american fascistical dictatorship, you wouldnt be making the distinctions between the good the bad and the moderate fascists. you would be tearing your clothes.

the truth is every islamic society is not just worse compared to the level of abuse of human rights , Augusto Pinochet regime had , but you need to multiply them by a factor of 100 to reach the avarage abuse level of an islamic society.

and thats what makes you an islamophille.

  • @amet1980 No, that's what makes you think I'm an "islamophile." I'm not as bigoted as Condell, FvR, TF00t or you for that matter, so I must be the other extreme.

In other words, if I'm not with you, I'm against you. Words of a fundie fucktard.

  • @terrarising so what are you saying , tha fascism is good if it has the religious cover?

or that islamists are you kind of fascists?

or that islamism isnt sexist, homophobic, racist, authoritarian, imperialist , expantionalist, dictatorial (excluding all political parties and ideologies from their )model system_, inhumane in treating people( from criminals to woman being woman),doesnt legislate morality , intolerant towards other religions and races as jews..blah blah blah..

  • @amet1980 "-creationists are relativly harmless

    -where islamists are actually dangerous..."

Taking Tf00t's logic, creationists are not only as bad as Islam, they're definitively worse, because creationists are doing the exact same thing, only they actually have a majority on their side. In no "Western" country does Islam have a definite majority on their side...

  • well said ;)

  • I think it's great we can discuss these issues. I'm not sure why you need to have a long face and a look of disgust. I don't know why so many people feel the need to denigrate TF00t. Islam is false. Those Muslims, over a billion of them, have false beliefs about the world. Islam propagates the belief that blind faith is a virtue. Islam indoctrinates children into that belief system. This is not good for social and moral progress.

  • @awatson945 And none of that justifies allow...no BEGGING... the state to violate the properties of freedom of association and private property, just because one dislikes them.

In regard to Park51, thunderf00t is accepting the "hallowed ground" bullshit from prot-fascist idiots like Pam Geller and folks like HowTheWorldWorks.

    How's that for irony.

He is using emotion and has given up on rationality, just because he hates Muslims.

  • @johnycannuk How does saying one shouldn't build something translate into begging the state to violate someone's rights?

  • @awatson945 The persons protesting, including Pam Geller and her goose-stepping follower want the City of New York, the State of New York or the Feds to step in and prevent the Muslim community centre from being built. They'll also be happy if some worked up fool blows it up too.

And Tf00t is siding with them.

That, son, is how it translates into that - its easy to notice when they explicitly call for the government to step in and stop Park51 from being built in their speeches,.

  • @johnycannuk That, son, is a fallacy. It's guilt by association. Here, let me give you an example. Hitler was an animal lover. Therefore all animal lovers are anti-semites.

  • @awatson945 Raally? So tf00t didn't call for the government to step in ad close Park51? No, he just made a couple of spit fecked videos that support those who do. I guess thats EXACTLY the same as your trite example you just gave.

Thunderf00t is not some Pope or holy man. When he destroys Christian theology with humour and facts, I'm with him. When he shows creotards for the fools they are, with reason and logic, I'm with him

When he does these vids devoid of reason and logic, I am not.

  • @johnycannuk Leave the straw men alone. They do nothing for your argument. Please to show me where TF00t called for legislative action?

  • @johnycannuk By your logic, saying that the idiots who follow Fred Phelps shouldn't protest at soldiers funerals is begging the government to strip them of their rights. And if we follow your logic even further you now are begging the state to strip TF00t of his rights to free speech.

  • @awatson945 No, I believe in private property rights and free association. Tf00t has sided with those that wish the state to step in and stop Park51 from being built. He has sided with those whose false and hateful rhetoric has resulted directly in firebombing of mosques in Tennesse and Florida.

I think Islam is nonsense. But I will not lie and promoted irrational hatred against Muslims because if it. Apparently thunderf00t has no such compunction.

    Pity.

  • @johnycannuk You didn't address my point. In any event, criticizing religion isn't promoting hatred, irrational or otherwise. Death threats made against Christians for TF00t's criticisms of Christianity cannot reasonably be attributed to him. Now you are appealing to consequence. TF00t's views must stand or fall on their own.

  • @awatson945 If you lie, misrepresent facts, then yes, it is.

The issue is that these particular anti-Islam videos are out of character for tf00t - they are devoid of facts, repeat debunked talking points and rely on emotion to make their point. All things tf00t himself finds repulsive when done by creotards.

For some reason tf00t wants us to buy the "Cordoba" nonsense, the hallowed ground nonsense and the idea its funded by AQ, rather than a liberal WOMAN who doesn't wear the hijab

  • @johnycannuk Actually TF00t cites a number of facts. I don't agree with TF00t. I say build the center. But I understand his argument and it isn't as you portray it. He doesn't simply rely on emotion or debunked claims.

  • @awatson945 ...all based on facts that are easily refuted. Imagine if Casey Luskin or Ray Comfort did such things? I wonder what tf00t's reaction would be...oh wait, we don't have to wonder, we'd know, because they do stuff like that and tf00t is disgusted and appalled at their intellectual dishonesty.

There are lots of good examples of slamming Islam on YT that don't resort to this kind of crap (SmilinSkeptic is a prime example).

I am disappointed tf00t has resorted to this nonsense.

  • @johnycannuk I'm sorry but there is nothing in your post to respond to. Just assertions. That you assert them doesn't make them true.

  • @awatson945 The "long face" and the "look of disgust" came from playing with the stupid easel for fifteen minutes while I got the stupid thing to settle.

  • @terrarising Cool. :)

  • Great video!

  • a (nod) and a (sigh)

  • good stuff mate. wonder if he takes any of this stuff on board, or if he really thinks we're all deluided?

  • @gothatfunk At this point, all we can do is simply levy our critiques and hope something sticks. TF is his own person and if he thinks we're deluded, it's not that big a deal for me.

  • @gothatfunk He probably thinks we all have our own biases and differences of opinions. Perhaps he thinks reasonable people can disagree. On the other hand perhaps he lacks such nuance and he only sees the world in stark black and white.

  • Wise words, Terra.

  • @AuntieDiluvian Thank you, my dear! ;-)

  • I haven't watched The Boy Thunder's video yet.

I assume that the devil is in the details refers to HIS OWN recent videos?

  • @SniperWalrus Yes, his "Self-Deception" one.

  • thunderf00t could have taken a better approach with islam, and the comparison with his creationist videos doesn't really work

that being said i think he has made similar criticisms of christianity (and theism in general) without as harsh criticism

terra i agree with your approach, i don't completely agree with tf00t but that doesn't mean things can't be calm and friendly

  • The devil is indeed in the details - and I actually believe that outside the realm of science he hasn't really got a clue.

The videos on the bible were too painful to watch as they did not have the science component - and his knowledge of scripture was woefully inadequate and he tended to tar everyone with the same brush - biblical inerrantists as well as other christians.
