  • While the 2nd outfit is something she could wear to work, I felt they aged her about 10 years overall. Dear Stacy and Clinton, she's 22, not 30. =(

  • Can't swing a dead cat without seeing an owl? Good God. Minneapolis is such a cooler town than her...........

  • hoooo she seems so shy ! but too bad i love my neon pants and i aint gonna throw it away :P

  • no offense but the clothes they were providing look like they're from walmart.. not to be a bitch but.

  • Hello, everyone! Could someone, please, make english subtitles for this video? So i could make portuguese subtitles. Thanks a lot!

  • the last outfit at the end is horrendous. Every part of her is covered up and it shows off no curve.

  • She looks PHENOMENAL!!

  • love that she is so open about it :)

  • there hair always looks better before...

  • sometimes i feel they just dont get the age of the person...im sure stacy and clinton are in their late thirties and so they fit everything to their style when dressing up the mannequins...its so frustrating

  • if she's still a student she's allowed to dress like that...but if she continues with her look once she starts actually working thats another story...i pretty liked her casual student style

  • her faceeeeeeeeeeeee!

  • i do not like the pat benatar hairstyle. she could have kept it a little bit more young.

  • owl sweater so cool! i want!

  • i just started the episode. her style isn't professional but i still like it. great streetwear. it's young and not boring. i wonder how she'll change..

  • I agree with "knightsintodreams" She looks awesome, and young, and professional.

    Those two are freaking geniuses.

  • the look on her face when she realized it was her they were talking about is PRICELESS!

  • what are ya'll bitchin about? she looks FANTASTIC!! like a movie star, holy cow.

  • if she was a normal person i'd think she was fine. but they're right about journalism. she's not appearing professional.

  • Episodes like this remind me why I'm not a big fan of this show. Stacy and Clinton know absolutely nothing about street fashion, or even fashion for those under 28.

  • 4:15 LOL

  • she was so interesting and sweet before, and then, BAM! soccer mom. She really needed some more professional clothing, but not just like everyone else!

  • this now is terrible the girl is 22 not 45 she looks like a mother after

  • why cant we let people dress how they want they are just making a bunch of people dress alike

  • I liked her style before!

  • I do love What Not To Wear but I loved her style. I'm sure she would have changed her style to be more mature once she got out into the real world...hopefully.

  • WHY are they trying to change the way someone looks when they're actually happy? She's a journalist; she doesn't need to look like an identikit whatever. This annoys me so much, thought I was getting a housewife who could do with a make over, not a creative young girl getting all her originality and personality sucked out of her. GRrrr

  • It's a lebra!

  • @4evrpeace1 They don't recommend skinny jeans to a lot of people because they don't suit a lot of people.

I have a very athletic build with pronounced quads due to a lifetime of cycling. I look like seven shades of shit in skinny jeans because my legs aren't skinny. Women with bigger bums, hips, or thighs generally don't wear skinny jeans well.

  • she looks 10 years older... not in a good way

  • I loved that owl sweater.. died a little inside when they threw it away. She's right about that kind of stuff being in style right now. I'm sixteen and my friends and I love the kinda hipster, vintage, boho style. Maybe not for a 22 year old journalist though...

  • She looks stunning - what a great makeover!

  • hey, when do new episodes come on?

  • @threeshadesofgreen hi! now they show episodes from season 8 here, new ep every Sunday, so usually I upload them on Mondays or Tuesdays

  • If her hair is that damaged, coloring is NOT a good choice. He should know that, being a stylist.

  • Is that a bob nick did?

  • I LUV MN (Minnesota)

  • Comment removed

  • I actually like the hair from Nick, which is not normal. I feel like it's something she actually would have picked for herself.

  • 22 is not exactly an old person...

  • "you can't swing a dead cat without finding something with an owl on it."

  • I thought that that outfit she had on when they ambushed her was actually pretty cute...

  • I'm wearing super skinny jeans and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ringer tee right now. And ain't nobody gonna tell me I can't. Not even you, Clint and Stacy! (I'm 16 and thin, I can do this:) haha)

  • Wow they're being really mean to her...

  • sparkling sneakers ARE actually pretty popular here in Mpls. <3

  • I TOTALLY KNOW HER! she lives near me in uptown Minneapolis!

  • @xmalx22

That's awesome! I'm from MN too but I don't live in the city.

  • Finally! Somebody who actually looked hot to begin with!

  • she looks awesome after the trasformation

  • her hair looks bad -_-

  • Some of her stuff was awesome! The stuff she bought was a little old for her, but very professional. And it's true owls are really in right now.

  • ANOTHER FUDGING BOB-ish style............. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • She looks like the younger version of Marinda Hobbs from Sex and the City

  • I think its great that she has her own style and independance!

  • No hugs?! o.0

  • she walks weird but her body is awesome

  • She's just 22, her style would've evolved in a couple of years anyways.. Also I kinda liked her clothes.

  • @Queequel Me too, especially the owl sweater. :)

  • @Queequel It might, it might not. It took me for ages to get it together (it can be argued that I am still struggling with some aspects, e.g. pants) and in my early years of post-college work, I constantly was getting in hot water because my clothing was inappropriate.

I think it is not uncommon for girls with a funky, punky look to run afoul of corporate dress codes once they are out in "the real world."

  • I liked the owl sweater :( with a dress shirt underneat over some nice skinny jeans of tights with shorts

  • Nick, "Wow, you have a lot of hair." ..... Oh come on! The women who had great shoulder length hair had a lot of hair! But you chopped it off!! >.< I was actually hoping Ted would fix the hair but, oh well... :/

  • her clothes werent that bad. Some of the stuff is still cool for young people, i mean shes still very young

  • Stacy and Clinton are just doing their job. And that is to show people what is appropriate and fashionable to wear.

  • Why do they always show off their butts? xD

  • She kinda resembles Hayley Williams..

  • LOL I love Stacy, but she's not at emo girl and that's not a furby xD

  • I actually really like her clothes, but then again I'm an 18 year old girl finishing high school playing in a pop-punk/alternative rock band.. I think I'm allowed to dress like that for now xD

  • most f that chick's family dressed a LOT worse than she did. I really liked her style.

  • Stacy and Clinton are always making people feel stupid. It is so mean.

  • I hate how Stacy and Clinton are always mocking people. They don't seem to care about their feelings.

  • @nikieg96 I know. I mean, they try to help to a certain extent, but they DO indeed go overboard with their attitudes and all.

  • I don't think that Stacy or Clinton listen at all to Katherine when she says that she wants to look fun. None of the outfits they first suggested looked like something a 40 year old would wear.

  • OMG!!! Is she married yet?... Cause if she isn't she lives around a bunch of retards!!!!

  • I love this episode, she looks AMAZING! This is like, the only time I'm actually okay with what nick did because that colour is fabulous on her!!!

  • her hipster style would fit in toronto

  • @qwertyuiopz123 I highly admire the hipster look because it's generally DIY. :)

  • These dopes might as well come to my city of San Francisco.

  • i love this episode! she looks great. but i dont get it because in new york the punk rock and grungy style is so popular! like >,<

  • no...NOT the short cut

  • Wow, I actually quite like some of her stuff, like the owl sweater...

But that first outfit she wore when stacy and clinton were shopping with her was FABULOUS I loved it so much! Awesome! She's so cute and pretty.

  • i agree with gigglexsnort. i mean she dident look that terrible and i agree with ollie7707 that there are worse fasion diasters out there.

  • She looked like a hipster.

  • @Monoija Yea.... Like my mom.... Seriously... -_- She gets her clothes from my grandmother... *embarrased*

  • I live 2 hours away from Minneapolis!! I live in the town that invented Water Skiing!!(:

  • I'm from the Cities!! :D

I don't think she looks that bad. Some of her stuff is bad, but in general she looks okay. There are way worse fashion disasters out there!

  • Wow what a surprise. Nick gave her a bob!

  • "be a sponge" *weird hand motion* lol that cracks me up

  • I am 26, I wear pants red, green, blue and yellow pants. If you wear them with for darker colors like black they can look really classy. But you need the right cloths. I would NEVER EVER throw my pants away (and they fit me well as well)

  • @gigglexsnort I'm liking your comment only because you used the word "jelly."

    Haha :)

  • Seriously a Mia Farrow crop would have been amazing on her, haircut's hiding her cheekbones Nicky!

  • Her hair looks great. Clothes are BORING!

  • Why does Nick always do stupid bobs???? I hate it!!!!

  • I haaaaaaaaaaaate when people break down in this show, especially her who is skinny, 22 and was given 5000 dollars to spend in new york, loser

  • Wow, she has the most amazing body. So jelly~

I didn't think her clothes were THAT bad (some of them, maybe, but definitely not all). Still, the outfits that Stacy & Clinton came up with for her were some of my favorites out of the entire show.

  • @gigglexsnort Yeah, the people on What Not To Wear don't always have horrible clothes at first. once they has a priest, actually, and they said she was dressed very boringly. And it's like, she's a priest! Her clothes are supposed to be modest! But yeah, Stacey and Clinton do a good job for the most part.

  • @gigglexsnort

I think it was mostly her outfits that needed work. that blazer was really cute, she had a few cute skirts too. just skirts she would wear casually

  • @gigglexsnort I agree, and the only thing that I could add to your comment is that she needed to dress more appropriately for work. She can be unique off the clock, but she needs to be corporate casual when on the clock.

  • She looks great! I'm totally hoping they'll find a shorter person with a larger frame. I have plenty of family members who fit in that category, and I'd love to give them some advice. I think everyone can be fashionable. It's just a matter of knowing what works for you.

  • emo girl? WTF?

  • Her style is great, this plain conservative dressed family repulse me. Katherine stands out in cool outfits, she looks 100% better than the others.

  • @MissMael She definitely does. :)

  • she looks so gooooood!

  • Not sure about this episode: why waste the expertise of Stacey and Clinton on a 22 year old with a size 2? All she needs to do is open up any magazine to get fashion ideas. She just needed to get out of this phase of rebelling against her mother.

  • @Salsagirl66 You'd be surprised how many skinny girls(me among them) have a great deal of trouble knowing how to dress their body type. Just like with any other type of body the wrong cut can make you look disproportionate(or like a 14 year old boy in my case). And stuff like layering just goes over my head so I'm happy to learn from these episodes.

  • @NotOfThisAge I'm sure slim girls have many questions about style etc. However my point is that - with the focus of the media on those young and skinny - you have many more sources of inspiration and opportunities to learn what works than older and/or bigger women or those dealing with saggy parts from bearing children etcetc.

  • @Salsagirl66 I had a hrader time dressing myslef as a size 2 than my surrent size 4. just because people are skinny doesnt mean its any easier.
