Jacoby is barely faster in the 60m (they're separated by .03s 6.51/6.54), but Holliday is substantially faster in the 100m. Holliday has the fastest collegiate 100m time in the country this year at 10.01, Ford 10.28 is 9th in the NCAA. And Holliday's hasn't lost to Ford in the 100m, he beat Ford last year at the NCAAs by .15s. Not only that Holliday's PR of 10.01 is .2s faster than Fords 10.01 compared to 10.21.
Demps is actually struggling to return to 10.0 form and in his most recent race 2 weeks ago he placed a mere 6th with a time of 10.42 at the War Eagle Invitational. Holliday on the other hand is running extremely well and hasn't run over a 10.2 all season.

yeah, but 5'8" is regular size for sprinters. 5'5" is a bit short. but look at his form, his form is perfect he stays in his drive for 50 gets out and he just doesn't have the momentum that taller guys have at the top-end, I know he wil clock a sub-10 sometime next season though(if he would leave football alone)

you can see him trying to lift his knees, but being his height it is hard not to overstride at the top end. I actually think putting on some bulk through football isn't so bad, he doesn't play too much so he isn't asked to get as strong as the starters, but his strenght is what gets him out of the blocks so quickly. all of the guys in football who run sub 4.3's and rumored 4.2's have great start speed. a little mix of football training and track training isn't that bad

trindon is amazing out of the blocks but we all saw what happened when he lined up against walter dix. Walt doesnt have the fastest start but his top end speed is unmatched, and could soon be the worlds next fastest. Running that 9.93 with a horrrible start was amazing.

gatlin was more a top speed guy holliday just has straight crazy acceleration but his top speeds pretty good also gatlin usually wouldn't be ahead in the first 30 meters whereas you saw there holliday clearly got out way way faster than everyone else.
You have no idea about this little guy...he's been the smallest guy onthe field his entire career. He's tough, and frankly, he does not take any hits. He has not taken one big hit in his LSU career- even in the SEC with its fast defensive athletes- because he is nearly impossible to square up and hit head on.
Many people over the years have tried to knock him out of the game and they've all failed because he is incredibly fast, agile, and very hard to find on the field until he is pops out from behind the line and running by your angle.

no it does not. track speed is mechanical and has no change of direction. if thats true then why did jerry rice never get caught from behind. he ran a 4.6 40 while nfl db's r in the 4.3 to 4.5 range. u have no experience with these matters obviously keyboard football/track guy

you realize what you are talking about is speed. Speed is how fast a person can run straight. what you r talking about is change of direction and agility. and im sorry to break it to you but holiday is more agile and quicker than deion. watch a video of trindon playing. there is nobody faster who has ever put on shoulder pads. jerry rice was so good because he had a great QB, great awareness, great route running ability, and great hands. he was not fast. deion is flashier not faster

trindon is amazing out of the blocks but we all saw what happened when he lined up against walter dix. Walt doesnt have the fastest start but his top end speed is unmatched, and could soon be the worlds next fastest. Running that 9.93 with a horrrible start was amazing.

wow. trindon holliday's be running a consistent 10.0 and holiday day runs a 10.3. Holliday easily takes down Charles in anyday of the week. Charles would be just as far back as Wells was in this race who ran a 10.35.

cali, florida, and texas may have more athletes overall, but per capita, it is louisiana.
Trindon is by far the fastest guy in college football. if he had harvin's, slaton's, or mcfadden's size he would probably be the most exciting player in CFB. and expect to see more of him next year, Gary Crowton is much more creative than Jimbo Fischer.

gatlin was more a top speed guy holliday just has straight crazy acceleration but his top speeds pretty good also gatlin usually wouldn't be ahead in the first 30 meters whereas you saw there holliday clearly got out way way faster than everyone else.

You have no idea about this little guy...he's been the smallest guy onthe field his entire career. He's tough, and frankly, he does not take any hits. He has not taken one big hit in his LSU career- even in the SEC with its fast defensive athletes- because he is nearly impossible to square up and hit head on.
