This is the best screen protector out there. It doesn't take long to apply and the film will not come off. Also, it helps combat finger prints, not entirely but it is better than just having the screen minus the protector.
Hi I was consdering getting a screen protector. But I really like how my iPhones screen feels and it's touch screen will the screen protector make it feel totally different then regular? Also will the protector make it feel like grippy or sticky?
Why are there only two sets of those films but so much of the liquid application solution? Are the films going to come off after a month or so and you have to do this over again?
@birmingham1010 If installed correctly, BodyGuardz will last a long time on your device. We include a large bottle of solution so that you won't run out. :) Thanks for your interest!
@bodyguardz Thanks for the reply! I just bought some. It's hard to put on the back sticker but after several attempts, I managed to get it on almost perfectly. But ipod does scratch pretty badly even if all I'm doing is leaving it on my desk and maybe using a tissue or a cloth to clean off some fingerprints.
I went to the bodyguardz website and couldn't find a video telling me how to use this thing. Had to come to youtube for full set of instructions! Thanks goodness for youtube!
@mtalamantes100994 Check out the lifetime replacements section of our website. We offer this so that if things like this happen, you're covered. Thanks for choosing BodyGuardz.
just bought this and i have bubbles on my phone, would it scratch the film if i push too hard to remove the bubble or should i wait 2 days for it to disappear?
@ervee30 SInce its been awhile since you installed it, the solution is probably almost dry so it will be very difficult to push the bubbles out. Wait a couple days, and those bubbles should disappear. Thanks for your order!
BGz, when you install this shield and spray on the solution, sometimes dust might get inside or even your fingerprint when you handle the material. Can you see those marks after you install the shield or does the 2 day drying process push away all that along with the bubbles? Thank You.
@fastx21 You want to be very careful not to get any dust under the protector. This won't work out. We recommend using a micro-fiber cleaning cloth and as much of a dust free environment as possible. As for the fingerprints, if you spray your hands with the solution before handling the protector, you will not get fingerprints on it. Hope that helps! Thanks for your comment!
Yep, the best thing about the 4g must be nicer screen and the new case upgrades.
The majority of you people watching this video don't have the cash to purchase new iPhone, it's just going to cost so much
Lucky for you I learned on Apples face book page yesterday they are giving away a ton of iphone 4gs. Also, this will take you to Apples contest website copy and paste
@yscreth55 Yes you can - I have had both my 3G and 3GS in cases at times with no problems. After over 12 months with no case, the Bodyguardz on the 3GS is in dire need of replacement, but I'd shudder to see what it would look like without the Bodyguardz.
@daviddth99 Hey have you checked out our lifetime replacement program? We'll send you a replacement for a minimal processing fee of $4.95, which includes shipping. Check out our Advantage program on our BodyGuardz website. Hope that helps!
I ran out of the fluid that came with my Bodyguartz. Do you have any tips/suggestions on how to make more? Do I have to use a lot of water an a little bit of baby shampoo? And why shouldn't I turn on my iPhone within 12 hours after attaching the Bodyguartz?
@fedorkleber Go to Bodyguardz site and buy more...or go to a local window tint shop and ask for a sample of their solution...don't use water, it won't dry that well and if there are minerals in the water it can leave spots...don't use shampoo...for similar reasons (duh) don't turn on phone because if you push around on the screen you might MOVE the sheild before it's totally dry and totally stuck on. Just follow the instructions and be happy...if you want to find out for yourself...carry on.
so to be blunt, is this basically the same thing as ZAGG cuz at walmart all they have is the bodyguard for my phone. They stopped selling it everywhere else.
Just installed the bodyguardz to my iphone =) Its wonderful! The trick is to be generous with the solution. It makes it easy to handle and don't forget the hands!
omg, invisible sheild blows for iphone. Trust me i think i should have bought the bodyguardz. Ive installed the invisible sheild on my 3gs and it sucks. Theres fingerprints still on it, and theres this orange peel effect which i just cant stand, it protects againsts scratches but i just wish my iphone doesnt look like crap
Ok so all these videos I watch for Zagg they have scratch tests and don't take the cover off, and it's still unharmed. But for all the Bodyguardz ones they scratch it up and take it off and say their iPhone isn't scratched. The whole point is to keep it on isn't it? -_-
Is Zagg truly better or should I get the Bodyguardz one!?
@Spiceman333 yes...but by taking off a severely scratched cover they SHOW you that the iphone is unharmed. GEEZZZ this is a demo to promote how cool this product works.
"Hey my name's Jesse. I've been making videos for a while but don't know a whole lot of people. So if you'd drop by my channel I'd really appreciate it."
GOD#$%!#$% Just try'd it. Protection is fine. But it is a hell to get it on. The front is easy. but the back? WTF she makes t looks easy. she did it a 1000 times..
If you want to waste $20+ this is the way to go! After a successful but difficult instillation and 48 hrs later I found out I wasted my money. Bought 4 screen protectors, tried 4 times each with the same result.
bodyguardz is better in my opinion because u can barely feel it on the phone though the quality is not as good as zagg, its more than enough for everyday uses
This is simply cool:) Finally I've got my iPhone, and You know what? It was for free:) If anybody are interested just have a look here: freebies(.)comoj(.)com/iphone Yeaaaaah! :)
Mine after less than a month is marked up pretty badly. Ok with the backlight on I can not notice them and the protection is great. Really does feel protected. I was just not expecting it to mark up so easily. I have not tried any others though am going to try one of the free switcheasy ones I got with my neo case next.
I dont like my Bodyguardz on the front. The back is okish. The corners keep popping up.
Plus all my bubbles on the back left white visible marks when it dried. (Mines a black iphone.)
The protection is good, covers all the chrome, if you allign the edges correctly.
Plus I just ruined the front of mine using my usual alcohol cleaning solution. Dont use alcohol based screen wipes on Bodyguardz it will mark it badly.
hi, thanks for the video. i was wondering can i buy this stuff at bestbuy, target, walmart, or any retail store or do i have to buy it online? thanks again!!!

i think invisiblesheild just becuase she did not scratch her bodygaurdz mabey trying to hide the fact that it does scratch besides i orderd an invisiblesheild for my ipod touch 1g and it should be here soon
why can't these phone makers produce a scratch proof phone? how hard can it be for them to treat these things during manufacture with the same "substance" that Bodyguardz claims to be made of??? install seems tedious but i guess worth it when dealing with such important equipment
yeah I've just finished installing them too. the front was easy althpugh it doesnt line up perfectly. The back is horrible the corners wrinkle and it doesnt cover the bezel evenly on all sides. Anyway Ill guess Ill wait to see the end result. used both back covers btw
the bodyguardz doesn't cover the sim card area, so you can open it even after you've applied it. the back, however, was quite a bitch and didnt look as good as it promised to be. i'm tearing off my first one to install the second one. hope it turns out better.
i really want something like this to put on my iPhone 3G so everyone can see the beautiful glossy back, but i was watching a different video from zagg i think and the comments pretty much added up to it being a piece of crap. will this work better?
body gaurd doesn't protect your iphone as well as invisible shield does, but it is alot easier to install & the back case feels alot better, not so sticky like. all in all not a bad protecter
if u put a case on it erm, does not show ur phone and with these shields it means tht u carnt get scratches and your MOBILE PHONE looks how it is ment to be.
I have an invisibleShield, the front is pretty much ok, but the back is just way to difficult to get right and the sides dont really stick that well because of wrinkling (and barely match the buttons). I heard that the Boduguardz are easier to apply, but in the video it's the same... I'm thinking of getting Bodyguardz to see if there is any difference.
I applied this protector on my iphone but i still have many glue stains that I can see, if i let it dry for a day or two will they go away or do i have to apply it all again?
How well does BodyGuardz cover the corners of iPhone 3G? One of my friends has a first generation iPhone with BodyGuardz film that leaves tiny bits of the corners exposed. He dropped it and the drop left a tiny nick in an exposed corner. I don't own an iPhone (yet) and since I'd like to protect my iPhone as well as I possibly can, I'd appreciate some feedback regarding the BodyGuardz film for iPhone 3G. Thanks!
Yes, It covers the Chrome bezel FAR better than Invisible Shield. I have both here at my house and BodyGuardz is cut about 1/4" wider & taller than Invisible Shield. BodyGuardz is less peppleish - more smooth also. I'm returning my Invisible Shield.
i also have invisible shield and i wasnt really satisfied with it because it does not cover the chrome sides, and the corners will not stay on... im returing invisible shield and buying bodygaurdz
No where near as easy as the installation video shows. 1. incredibly difficult to avoid fingerprints on the sticky side of the film, even if you clean and wet down your hands prior to handling the film. 2. Very difficult to position the back piece. 3. Ran out of solution in the middle of trying to put on the second film. I'm ditching the back piece and getting a case to protect it. The front was easy to apply and looks great, don't bother with the full kit, the back piece just doesn't work.
just thought i'd let you know that if you run out of solution, just fill up the bottle with water. the bottom of the bottle has residue left in it & will work fine.
would they look as clear on the white version? i want my iphone in white and worried about keeping it clean and unscratched. i'm choosing between these or a cool leather case i saw.. or both hahah. thanks
when i brought my psp, i tried at least 4 types of "screen protector", which i felt were crap compair to IS. that's why i buy it for my new iphone as well.
ps. how can YOU know I never tried anything else? lol

iMacPwner 2 years ago
@shoam777 i tried both for iPad and iPhone, and i have concluded the following:
the cons of Zagg:
not much protection when it falls like a metre or so.
screen gets a bit darker.
BG:
its very fragile while applying, so hard to stick, and takes a long time to dray, more than 72 hours with mine.
pros of bodyguardz above Zagg:
it doesnt affect the beauty of your device , easy to remove, and refit, and a lifetim warranty.
thumbs up for bg!

I heard that the Boduguardz are easier to apply, but in the video it's the same... I'm thinking of getting Bodyguardz to see if there is any difference.

is the protectors thin enough for the iphone to fit in the dock?
appledabest76 3 years ago

Thanks!

does it cover the chrome? reply to my youtube please!
jackyere 3 years ago
Yes, It covers the Chrome bezel FAR better than Invisible Shield. I have both here at my house and BodyGuardz is cut about 1/4" wider & taller than Invisible Shield. BodyGuardz is less peppleish - more smooth also. I'm returning my Invisible Shield.

i also have invisible shield and i wasnt really satisfied with it because it does not cover the chrome sides, and the corners will not stay on... im returing invisible shield and buying bodygaurdz

Lol hope you didn't already put your invisible shield on ;)

No where near as easy as the installation video shows. 1. incredibly difficult to avoid fingerprints on the sticky side of the film, even if you clean and wet down your hands prior to handling the film. 2. Very difficult to position the back piece. 3. Ran out of solution in the middle of trying to put on the second film. I'm ditching the back piece and getting a case to protect it. The front was easy to apply and looks great, don't bother with the full kit, the back piece just doesn't work.

just thought i'd let you know that if you run out of solution, just fill up the bottle with water. the bottom of the bottle has residue left in it & will work fine.
kornfreakforever 3 years ago
or buy a new one?
it only cost like 2 dollars, so its not really that much, i think when i get one, i will buy another solution, just incase somethig happens :)

I must admit, Invisible Sheild is way better than all the other things. I tried them on my PSP, and it feels very solid!
FortuneHunters 3 years ago
how can you know if it's better if you've never tried anything else?
kornfreakforever 3 years ago
when i brought my psp, i tried at least 4 types of "screen protector", which i felt were crap compair to IS. that's why i buy it for my new iphone as well.
ps. how can YOU know I never tried anything else? lol
FortuneHunters 3 years ago
i'm sorry i thought you implied you had never tried anything else. My Appoligies!
