They wait with that episode idea for half a year more and they couldn't have pulled it off. Though who knows, maybe like they did with KFC, and now that i think about it the colonel is not the only person still alive in SP's universe...
@comp89 Mine had 8 days left under warranty so yes im sure they help you as much as they can but dont quote me each issue is different but im almost certain they look after you and get you sorted
@ammo1985 i have made an appointment i dont have any warranty or apple care and the back of my macbook air is cracked will they charge? and if they do do you know how much?
I went to same store 2 days ago. I had dropped my iPhone 4 and smashed the screen rendering it unusable. I thought I would have to buy a new one. I went into the store, the Genius said it would be £140 for a new phone. He then had a look at the phone and said "You know what, apart from the screen, the phone's in good nick. I'll just go and get you a new one." Walked out 5 mins later with a brand new iPhone 4 for free. Amazing. I also did a similar thing to my 3GS, and they replaced it free. :-)
@Marksy72 Im sorry i didnt mention it, yes it did get replaced for free and no they come in a simple brown box from the genius bar and they just set the phone up and give you the new phone and send your old one off i guessing
@Marksy72 you would have to make an appointment at your local apple store and they will tell you when they look at your phone, i cart really say for sure that they will replace it. it also depends on how long you have had the phone im guessing if you had it on launch day then the warranty has ended now and you might have to pay
