I always loved this scene! The drawings were so beautiful, it's too bad Walt Disney doesn't produce things like this.
All the best from France
J'adorais Fantasia!
is it normal to watch this and have the unexplainable need to prance around in the woods while tossing glitter around glitter....just want to know if i should check in with my psychologist....
I dont think it is so much, the appealing to boys thing, I think it is rather the choice of music...a bad choice of dischords, not pleasant on the ear at all.
With reference to kierAxKiwi on the Rite of Spring: I dont think it is so much, the appealing to boys thing, I think it is rather the choice of music...a bad choice of dischords, not pleasant on the ear at all.
this piece was always my favorite...I can still remember it so vividly even though the last time I actually watched it on video was about 12 years ago! I'm so excited they are putting it on on DVD!
haha this is so wierd - i watched this when i was really young and all i can really remember is how i felt about each bit and i was terrified of the dinosaus and the broom but watching them back... its wierd!
I loved this movie when I was younger, I still have a copy of it somewhere!
There is a special kind of beauty intrinsic to these older animations. It's something that computer graphics can't hold a candle to, and this video is a prime example!
This was one of my favorite movies when I was little, too! My dad used to get it from the video store all the time. I'd love to buy it on DVD today. ^_^
this has always had a place in my heart. SOme say disney was not the real creator of mickey mouse but he made this and this is way better then a mouse, anyday . and the state disney is in now walt is proply rolling in his grave
They probably made the animation first, then had a composer take a look and let him choose how the song would be played. (I think. Don't take my word for it)
they burn with a laugh from a child .

When this music play on the Ren and Stimpy Show "Stimpy fan Club"
I alway think of what Ren wrote to Cindy on 1:38
He wrote: "Dear Cindy, There is no such thing as me. I'm just a cartoon you idiot, I bet you even believe in the tooth beaver. love, Stimpy"

I love the way the fairies make everything glittery with dew.
I gotta say that Rite of Spring is my least favorite one... But I guess they thought they should make at least one that could appeal to boys.
