  • This is my song EVERY TIME before I go out to party. Its got me laid many times.

  • HOLY SHIT I LOVE THIS SONG !

  • Legend...

  • november 24+1991+bronconeumonia+AIDS= one of the greatest tragedies of the all times (THE FUCKING DEATH OF THE GREAT FREDDIE MERCURY) but dicember 21+2012+end+world= the day the day when we shall see Freddie again

  • "His voice isn't perfect in this either" ... WTH are you talking about??? I don't care about perfect robotic pitch! I care about the fantastic energy passion sound of the human voice; and in this video Freddie is completely oozing it!

  • Yeah me too bohemian makes me sad

  • Me fave Queen song!!!!! :) energetic n happy!!! bohemian makes me too sad :(

  • low quality...

    Queen ftw

  • tbh. I don't like Freddie as much clean shaven. A nice moustache suits him nicely

  • y'know, I go to put on queen as background music while I do other things and I end up just getting sucked into watching them play...

gawddamn freddie stop being so entertaining and lemme do my work!

  • 31 people like Katy Perry version /watch?v=1DR0GP2MW5M

    lol

  • he was the indian version of god. like hendrix was the american version of god. like jobim was the brasilian version of god. like gardel was the argentinian version of god. like mozart was the autrian version of god.

  • He is always 100% for live.

  • classic as fuck

  • If anybody even dares to delete this song from youtube will face the consequences of getting hurt really bad.

  • High notes or low notes, HE was simply the best...

  • God is real, but he's nowhere as cool as Freddie.

  • everytime i listen to this song and remember that freddie is dead it makes me wanna cry.

  • @Suicidalfamily ehi freddie is the immortal man

is still alive when you listen his songs, he reborns

  • what i can only say is that i was born in the wrong generation...

  • i wish that he sang this with his 80s voice

  • 28 people were stopped

  • GENIO.............¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEGEND

  • Much love to Freddy on his Birthday :)

  • what a great fucking talent!!!!! his piano is so underrated

  • UrStreatWrld really?! No, come on! Seriously, really?!? Naah... Come on!

  • @UrStreatwrld freddie actually sang opera and it wasnt bad i mean for opera

  • why can´t there stand a nice video nowadays without any reference on Lady Gaga or Justin Bieber?why?

  • Opera technics are totally different of rock sing technics.

Also famous rock singers make too much concerts than tenors.

    I think you know that.

  • @shakriviere So you mean to tell me that we shouldn't expect a rock singer to sing the way he did in the studio? I can understand that after too many concerts a singer might not perform at his best, but that doesn't mean he has to underperform all the time. If you show me an extraordinary voice on your record, that'd be one of the main reasons I might want to see you in concert, otherwise I'd rather stay home listening to your records..

  • @UrStreatWrld Your sentences aren't wrong. The big mistake is record a track giving the best already knowing that you won't can do the same on stage. I agree with you. But they do it! To me is a mistake! I regret that the mainstream artists treat their art as a source of money before all else. Perhaps if the Queen had not been so successful they would do fewer concerts and so increase the quality on stage, playing their tunes with more fidelity.

  • Freddie's never underperformed live. Just because he doesn't sing the higher parts doesn't mean he underperformed: There's more to Freddie/Queen than the high parts: If you ever watch Queen's live stuff, you'd know that Freddie often is on the stage strutting around, having fun with the audience, interacting with the band, etc. Plus, you have the other three members with their instruments and backing vocals!

It seems that you can't appreciate live performances (compared to studio)

  • And about saving his voice and being tired, a singer with a natural high register, and a good technique, don't strain his vocal cords when reaching those high notes. So you're telling me that opera singers change the melody of their songs, 'cause they have to save their voices?. If they'd do that, their career is over. opera tenors don't suffer when they hit those notes..

  • @UrStreatWrld Apart from saving his voice for later concerts, Freddie had vocal fold nodules, which pretty much limited his range when touring, that's why he doesn't sing the high parts, plus you can't compare a rock band tour to an opera singer's.

  • Comment removed

  • @WallAlfyan Well, there are plenty of rock singers that have the ability to sing just like their records. Besides, if Freddie was saving his voice, or developed nodules later, we should have early concerts where he was singing as he did in the records. And we don't have them. What I'm basically trying to say is, Freddie was a singer who voicewise went to his limit in the studio, so he could impress people. But in my opinion he should have sung lower, so he can do the same live.

  • He's had nodules since 1975, and the reason why he lowered his lines live was because if you have vocal nodules, often times they would "rub" and "break up the voice." There's countless audio samples of Freddie parring his studio vocals (Newcastle 1979 for example). An example of this is Radio Ga Ga from Live Aid. He sings it exactly like the studio.

And you can't compare Opera singers to rock singers--Opera singers are formally trained, most rock singers aren't.

  • @UrStreatWrld sry i know ur posts R 5 months old. but i cant imagine anyone not being impressed by this great man and his live performances. he has such an extraordinary voice. you just cant sing a whole concert like in studio.

and by the way he is not underperforming. im pretty sure he always gave the best he could to have fun on the stage and make music. and most of their songs really sound like the studioversions.

  • Check out this cover of 'Another one bites the dust' (Queen -- Another One Bite the Dust - Central Park Concert 3) and any live version of the same song from the real group. If Freddie is the best singer in the world, why is this other guy nailing the high parts, while Freddie can't? oh, yeah, he's tired, he's saving his voice?

  • @UrStreatWrld Yes! He is saving his voice. Chester Bennington, James LaBrie, Axl Rose, Geddy Lee and too many singers have always sang in the limit till the moment they got trouble on the throat. Freddy is smart!

  • IMO, the magic of Queen was the ethereal choruses, the juxtaposed guitars, the soaring operatic-like voice of Freddie that I listened on the records, not to mention the rest of the group. Live, it was another story, it was great, but impossible to recreate that magic from the records..

  • @UrStreatWrld He can easily handle it live. He choose don't do it live to save his voice. If he start to sing identical to the records, he will have problem to keep his voice good to hold out all the sequence of concerts. Some singers overdo their voices in the first ones concerts of the tour and in the last days feel hard to sing so good. If you seek for the singers that face that problem you will find it easily.

  • @UrStreatWrld Well if you are basing this opinion on this video (I'm sure you aren't you seem to have a lot of knowledge) this video absolutely does no justice for how incredible queen was live. I remember one concert I went to in Buffalo I believe it was when Freddy came sliding down right over the crown on a zipline just after the soft intro to Bohemian Rapshody. Records are more polished however Freddy was still (IMO) the best singer in history :)

  • @theholmsy He was a great singer, no question about it. Singers do not have to sing high to be regarded as good ones, but personally, I don't like it when they push their voices to the limit on a song. I could easily assume that if they can't do it the same way live, that voice was probably manufactured in the studio. A good example is 'another one bites the dust'. Just listen to any of the live versions, and you'll see what I'm talking about. The best singer should be able to handle it.

  • I'll say it again: Freddie was an extraordinary singer and composer, but if you want to talk about singers with high registers, I wouldn't include him, if he cannot handle it LIVE (as it always was the case), like others (i.e. Steve Perry, Stevie Wonder) then he's not in that category like many people would like to believe..And this is from a true Queen's fan..

  • He's not singing the first part cause some notes from the melody are rather high, he does the same at the chorus where Roger Taylor is the one who sings the high notes while Freddie sing the lower ones. Same at the end. IMO, he was a superb songwriter, but as a singer he didn't have a high vocal range (he never showed it live) tough he was a good singer..

  • @UrStreatWrld wtf are you talkin about? Freddie didn´t sing some notes because he was so tired during 1979 tours...

Don´t seem you know Freddie very well...

  • @UrStreatWrld Freddie is intelligent enough to save his voice to have it during the entire tour. If he start to sing identical to the records, he will have problem to keep his voice good to hold out all the sequence of shows. In the discs the most of the high notes is Freddie. Few high lines of vocals were recorded by Roger.

  • @shakriviere Why do we have to create an illusion around a person? you might be right about Freddie singing the high parts in the records, I was talking about Roger helping him LIVE, listen to the famous line

'...weeee are the champions..' in the chorus of 'We Are The Champions" live, and you'll hear Taylor singing that part (with a head voice) and Freddie singing low..

  • He's practically kissing that microphone

  • 0:24 - Forgot the words ?

  • @SiniaDiva he skips that part cause the piano is too difficult to sing with

thats only my guess though since he does it in other vids too

  • @smokelakes He forgets his lyrics a lot. It's so funny on some live recordings you can hear where he just starts mumbling or completely changes lyrics. There are a few where he flat out says "I've forgotten the words, fuck it I'll just make them up" He was so funny and cute. : )

  • @CRBjeep hahah thats hella good

  • @smokelakes He was a character, for sure.I would rather hear Freddie Mercury mumble and swear on stage than see today's biggest "Talent",any day!

  • AKOJONANTE

  • 2:00 It looks like Phil Collins stepped in for the night to cover Roger!

  • Freddie Mercury had the most beautiful voice and was oozing sex-appeal.

  • My dad was a fan of queen

  • Good performance.

  • This is so amazing! What a piece of amazing music! Real music!

  • The Chorus between Freddy and Roger is simply perfect. Thx for this vid!

  • I'm searchin' since 10 minutes for any live video where freddie's singin' the whole beginning of this song.. didn't found any..

  • @bratzelwurks Killer Queen live at Montreal

  • live Kampuchea, no ?

  • Now that's real talent.......nobody was better than Freddie at his best.

  • Rare your ass ¬¬".....This song is very good.

  • I thank to Queen for steering me away from the Beatles when I was eleven.

  • @chetumalkid - I love Queen and The Beatles. What you got against the Beatles? Just curious. (don't mean it, in a nasty way)

  • If I had follow the Beatles, maybe, just maybe I would have continued listening to bands more pop and more commercial, because the town where I grew up didn´t have any good music so everyone loved Beatles (their name was everywhere). Listening to Queen was like a doorway into music more alternative, with deeper lyrics and more bizarre. I actually think Beatles is overrated, they´re not bad at all as a band, and I like many of their songs but far from having had a real influence in Rock music.

  • @chetumalkid Queen is my fave band, the best in my opinion, but I do admit that the Beatles had a huge impact in Rock music, you must be blind or deaf if you deny it.

  • A huge impact? They had a humongous impact in POP music, I don´t know about Rock music. And I´m not blind nor deaf, I was a bass player in different bands, different music, from latin jazz to punk rock and, in my experience I haven´t met a musician who had been influenced (musically speaking) by the Beatles, maybe the guys from Coldplay or Take That which are a far cry from what´s Rock music.

  • @chetumalkid Well, Beatles rock is pop if you compare them to Queen´s or Led Zep´s rock. And there are loads of artists inspiered by The Beatles like Oasis for example.

  • So good so good just sogood Fred,Love you man!

  • Freddie is my idol! He's been my idol since I learned to sing when I was really small *like 5 years old* Even though he is in the big rock heaven in the skies I still idolize him! His music will live longer than Beiber

  • O know Freddies the only bisexual in heaven

  • Ouughhhguouugh eargasm!

  • freddie love you

  • sometimes i wish i was born earlier just to witness things like this...

  • It's amazing how great Roger Taylor voice is. The guy is a drummer and sings better than 90 per cent of current front men in rock bands IMO. He complimented Mercury's voice pretty well and that made for epic vocal harmonies in most of their tracks and live.

  • I'd like to meet him in heaven!

  • Voice = Awesome

Piano + Voice in Don't stop me now = IMPOSSIBLE (but Freddie is GOD)

  • Muse or queen

  • @mundarinn BOTH

  • @mundarinn QUEEN NO CONTEST

  • We miss you mercury..we can't stop you know, because your having yourself a good time..upstairs :) r.i.p.

  • my god his voice was simply amazing...the energy and vocals made Queen brilliant...

  • jesus man im 13 years old and i hate 2day's music...

my fav. band is Aha and thats it RIP Freddie Mercury.

  • Freddie is the sexiest man i´ve ever seen 0.0 no man is hotter than this babe 0.0... he is also more talented and a better singer XD God, how I hate Justin Bieber rrrrr please do not dare to talk about him! I would put that spoiled kid in jail for ruining music rrr! Dear Lord, why cant we have Freddie Mercury nowadays? =(

  • Pure Genius! Saw them in '81 GREAT show!!!

  • Freddie will alwayz be #1 on my list.. :D

  • freddie is way to clos to the microphone thats why it sound horrible :S

  • @VideoGameRespawn umm no it doesnt sound horrible. Freddie will alwayz be the best even if the microphone is jacked up or hes to close to it. Freddie Mercury is da bomb. im suggesting u should check ur speakers. they might be jacked up.

  • @xHoleintheWallx hmmmm no my mics are fine I mean i like queen they alright but I just think hes too close to the mic

  • adoro queen mew uma das melhores bandas de todos os tempos

  • oh wow! i remember this song, this is a great song

  • Hey, TheCaptain12387:

    PLEASE fix your video description!

  • great song

  • :) super.

  • Que ritmo por Dios. Excelente cancion!!

Freddy Mercury, que carisma, gran artista.

  • I love this song. Absolute master piece.

  • ill never get to see them live....R.I.P. Freddie

  • Still my fav from Jazz!!!

  • @ronaldsteff Jazz was their best album (my opinion)

  • Espectacular !!!

  • i love this song. it is my favorite queen song. R.I.P freddy mercury

  • freddie was the greatest rock singer ever well still his love him loads ... he sadly missed

  • ive been lookin for a while and im glad no one said shit about him being gay, cause that pisses me off, ever video i see on youtube says it and im glad people can actually apprietiate music for what it is and not give a shit about the people who play it. Freddie was the best rock sing who has ever lived

  • you seriously have no life if you look through comments on youtube just to see if people talk about him being gay.

  • You act as if mentioning that he was gay is taboo. He was gay. I don't see the point in hiding that.

  • Sensacional!!! Show de bola!!! 24-12-09

  • epic

  • It also must be remembered this was also the last show in this tour, there are ever better concerts out there from the 79-82 period, granted this is still very good.

  • Like Newcastle, Glasgow, etc.

  • Freddy is the king of singing

  • Hey, TheCaptain12387 (the uploader), you gotta fix your video description: His voice is just FINE in this video--he hits alot of the high notes, no voice cracks, great control, etc.

  • if you tink that freddies voice is fine here then you should go to specsavers for a hearing test cos even queen knew they werent good at this song live. listen to 2.07 he was def flat then. dnt get me wrong i like queen i also know what sounds good though.

  • Oh, so he's SLIGHTLY flat on ONE note, that means his voice wasn't fine? Are you joking?

And my ears are FINE for your sake, and the reason why they stopped playing this song wasn't because they "weren't good" at it STUPID, they stopped playing it because 1. Brian hates the song, and 2. It's EXTREMELY difficult to sing constantly on a tour.

  • And LEARN to spell for Pete's sake.

  • First of all, he wasnt even flat on that note...you need to get your ears checked...

Even if he was, they play nearly 50 concerts in each tour and freddie had something called vocal nodules. There were a few concerts in the Crazy and Jazz tour where freddie's voice wasnt in tereffic shape..but so what?? everyone has their ups and downs

  • Actually, Freddie's voice is in great shape during the whole Crazy Tour!

  • Yes thats why i also said jazz tour. The crazy tour was probably the best tour as far as freddie's voice... (either that or sheer heart attack tour).

  • The Sheer Heart Tour was before Freddie got the nodules--so he was pretty consistent throughout the tour.

The Crazy Tour-The European Leg of the Hot Space tour: Freddie's vocals were spot on at practically every show!

  • Really? I always thought Freddie said he developed the nodules after he turned 20...maybe im wrong

And ya every single show of the crazy tour his voice was in perfect shape

  • He first developed them in 1975 and he quit drinking wine for awhile.

  • ahhh yes also there was a time when he started smoking cuz he wanted his voice to be raspier

  • Around 1980, when he was recording The Game.

  • And the European leg of the 'Hot Space Tour'.

  • For some strange reason, Brian May hated this song. Maybe it's because the record only features about 20 seconds of his guitar.

  • But even 20 sec are Great))

  • agreed

  • okay i officially name this song my favorite song of all time!!! may queen go down in history as one of the most memorable bands of all time

  • this video proves that Freddies live, unedited voice is %100 better than the shitty lip syncing artists of today. ROCK ON

  • agreed

  • lol i agree. But its harder to lip sync then it is to sing live lol

  • Damn Straight, he was a bad bitch

  • not all of them are lip synchers, some of them are actually pretty good live too. what made queen unique was its style.

  • Wow... Even on his off days Freddie sounds better than at least half the singers today... After all he is THE Freddie mercury :)

  • This isnt an off day! LOL

He's hitting almost all the high notes here!

  • @423likeajewel Freddie beats all musicans today! Fack I HATE Lady ''Gaga'' she has the name from Queens Radio ''Gaga'' beacause some tone def idiot sayd to hear that she sang just as PERFECTLY as the legendary Freddie Mercury! D=<

  • @423likeajewel

Thats true, but this isn't an off day, actually Freddies voice is in very good shape, this is during the "Crazy tour" Freddie's best tour

  • He didn't have anything wrong with his voice. In a better quality recording of this show you can you can hear the audience singing along and Freddy just gives them a change to sing it too.

  • Live in Japan was performed better, which is odd because Queen always performed sub par in Japan

  • it is a jewel this version. C5 really tenor

  • at what minute does he hit the C5?

  • i love the drum..something you miss in the recorded version (distracted by the insane vocals from freddy m)

  • Freddie is the Qu in Queen. With out him, they're only "Een".

  • without them freddie is only Qu ;) all are great

  • @TheArneDude He put the Queen in QUEEN! Without him they would be nothing. :D
