  • The only problem that I did not like about this video is the woman who migrated did not give the host a chance to talk, lol.

  • More power to you sis. I'm trying to get the hell out of America too, lol.

  • Yeye I dey gbadun yin gan...lol.. E she pupo.. E she gannnnnnnnnnnnnn...lol.. this is what we talking about.. let all americanizedblack people come back to where they belong... We love you our american brothers and sisters and Yoruba tribe welcome you all into their villages... E kaabo!

  • pshuu shes hilarious..lol

  • i just had to come back and laugh cos of funny mama LOOOOOOOOL.

  • She reminds me of my granny. =)

  • She has lost the american accent, INCREDIBLE.

  • @beautifulgooal i actually thought she had enough african accent.even her body language is Nigerianized.

  • Yeye, I love her!

  • Ooh la la! What a great show.. I'm so proud to be an African... Truly Yeye indeed.

    "kie pe fun wa yeye"

  • This tells me that life is what you make out of it. Why would someone prefer to live in Nigeria over America where is a citizen. Yet quite a considerable number of Nigerian aspire to relocate to America. God bless us where ever we find ourselves.

  • u will live long yeye

  • Could this just be reflective of how bad African-Americans have it in the U.S.? That someone would rather go to a remote foreign village in Africa, than suffer oppression, racism, living in the ghetto?

    #food_for_thought

  • @sbraithe they don't have to live in the US and there is something called destiny, besides in the usa and europe u r a second class citizen.

  • @beautifulgooal

So basically you agree with me!!! What I said was, there is oppression and racism.....even worse than being a "second class citizen"....more like 5th or 6th or 7th class.....

  • She was so right! Just like Americans can smell you out if you're forcing yourself into the Eurocentric culture, Nigerians, especially Yorubas can see you as fake from a mile away. As a matter of fact, they might even pervieve you as being condescending to their culture if you're not being authentic about it and will not want to have anything to with you.

  • I am really impressed by this lady of noble character and decision. May you live long Yeye..... Ase!

  • LOL, just noticed the Obama button she's wearing!!!

    gObama!!

  • fantastic. there is no place like home. long live yeye!!

  • @blackcoffeenocream1

Yes, but this was not her home when she moved to Nigeria....which makes the story even more fantastic!

  • Fantabulous

  • awww God bless you ma. Great talk show

  • un-f*cking-believable.....

  • love u mama u adapted everything even the Yoruba YELLING... I AM SO PROUD OF U

  • UP MAMA!!!!

  • I love her enthusiasm for her country and heritage, but i don't understand why she is yelling..... But am still proud of her, and of course yes, the African culture and upbringing is the best in the world, and you will never fully appreciate it until you leave Nigeria.... That's why am still going to go back home and marry a Nigerian Man

  • @kossykelly1 u don't understand why she is yelling ke? she has lived in niger all her life, that is one of the things we know how to do best. It is not our fault, it is just part of us. lol Yeye e ku ise ma, Agba yin a dale o.

  • Wow! My oh my and we have Nigerians desperate to abandon their culture even before they leave naija. Bigup Yeye!!!

  • I just love her. I lived with her in the 80s in Ila-Orangun, Osun State, then Oyo State.

Her daughter and myself were childhood friends from Ila-Orangun and attended primary school together. We are still friends up till now. And yes all the daughters are married to Yoruba men and they speak yoruba at home and the grandkids all have yoruba names.

    Eku ise o yeye.
