I'm pretty sure it is attached to a zip line that quickly pulls it off into the rock she's over. As the lights flash and shut off, the white dress most likely does the same thing only in reverse, which is why her arms are sticking up into the air making it easy to slip the dress on. This is a pretty simple and commonly used stage trick, and though this detail isn't really necessary, the clam shell bra is most likely still on and is just being covered by the dress.

You should see this. It, in no way, will ruin the experience of the Broadway version. The Broadway adaptation is INCREDIBLE but this one is a little taste of what is to come.

i think that they have a couple of ariels. but that they perform on different days. bc my old camp counselor now works as pocohontas and jasmine, but she still goes to college. nd she said a lot of ppl try out for the roles of the disney princesses.

Disney Magic :o). She is actually sitting inside the rock and gets lifted out while the smoke billows below her. It is done well.

She's standing inside the rock, then it lifts her upuntil she at the top... the just movies so thatit's in the new holes made where it was ontop before... with the lights and smoke you miss it but it unclips form ehr waist and falls into the rock. I was watchign VERY carefully.
