great show great fuckin show but......one problem what the fuck was fergie doing there? we got the stones, u2, bruce springstein, METALLICA, BB KING & Stevie Wonder and the black eyed peas I see something wrong there honestly Fergie single handedly ruined that show 4 me... how the hell she got involved with this i will never understand... fuck fergie fuck the black eyed peas and fuck the horse they rode in on
Micks definately still got it. At 66 years old he is, and will always be the greatest frontman ever! Cant wait to see him and Keith and the boys back with a new album and tour next year!!
I love this version...Mick can still move real good..The Edge just takes off with this song...Bono is upstaged a little by a pro....I love when Ferrgie comes out. and rips right into the song...Im glad to see tha Mick can still move...
i was there last night. this was one of the most incredible concerts i've seen. I heard about most of the guest but not about Jagger. When they started Gimme Shelter (after Black Eye Peas finished with U2) I asumed it was Fergie & U2 covering the stones. Then Mick comes marching out. Mick was in top form dancing & singing. The audio on this recording is a little distorted. But where i sat it was crystal clear and U2 played it perfect. Can't wait for the offical release.
i know man i was there too. U2 and metallica tore the roof off the place. loudest pops of the night to me were when ozzy and jagger came out. probably jagger more because he wasn't announced... he just danced right out onto the stage. memorable night. i read the review in the nypost today and they are calling it one of the GREATEST events to ever happen at the garden. they are putting up there with things like the 9/11 tribute, etc
Bad sound, there are better vids of this.
