Yes, it's sad that some brown-skinned people will be inconvenienced, but it's to be expected under the circumstances. Mexico has been devolving into a violent wasteland ruled by lawless cartels and Americans are fearful of the violence spilling over the border. Public approval for SB 1070 has been near 70%, so there is widespread support for it. Let's face it, the word 'Mexican' has a very negative connotation attached to it these days.

The Limbaugh laws are the same in Mexico towards foreigners (I'm Mexican). The only one I would not comply is relinquishing my private property rights. I want to move to the US and proceed my research on computer science and solar energy and, eventually, get patents on that. Also, I am a translator and speak 3 other languages (besides Spanish and English): German, Russian and French. According to Limbaugh, the conservative Americans would not mind my presence in their country, is that right?

He was talking about NAFTA in 1993, and what he said was, that the jobs which were leaving the country were jobs that required no skills - and could be done by either "stupid and unqualified Americans" or by "stupid and unqualified Mexicans" so that they might as well go to the latter.

That is what is called: "context."
