  • this is good...but the movie is twice as good

  • My mentor as a dancer was a Bob Fosse company member so therefore this is my training. These women do it perfectly, I saw them in person on Broadway. Bob would have been proud

  • A cameltoe's worst nightmare!

  • La otra versión es más sencilla

y se les ve el culo a las viejas extravagantes -.-"

  • Wow, they look practically, um, NAKED from the waist down. But this is probably the best version of this number I've ever seen. These girls are fabulous!

  • Men. Jazz. Booze. Life. Joy. Sound absolutely perfect.

  • perfect..... wow

  • wedgies haha !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Who is Velma? and who is Roxie Hart?

  • there is nothin' like a great set of legs...here it is times 2!!

  • :O De bob Fosse

  • Lol these bitches hate eachother.

  • Oh love this!!:D it's briliant!:DD and i think i know Dana!!;p

  • Ugh... I LOVE this. Wish the movie kept this choreo because original Fosse choreography is where it's at.

  • No biggie. their legs are just like a mile long each. whatever.

  • thems is some nice gams.

  • So much sexier and fluid than Bebe Neuwirth's. And neither of them sing out of the side of their mouths. Real dancers, and I bet they weren't hard to work with.

  • It's good but a tad disturbing because you can't stop looking at their wedgies and watching it makes me feel like I'm watching granny porn or something *shivers* ugh. But the performance was good if that's any consolation

  • Good, but Bebe Neuwirth is better :)

  • I wish they had the period accurate costumes. :(

  • they've got some KILLER legs!!

  • i don't like their outfits :( but their choreography is still amazing :)

  • My favorite rendition yet!

  • @beydv check the glee version. I liked it, but too much of it was off..they werent in sych all throughout

  • I love Jazz music!!!!!

  • One of the best sequences I´ve ever seen....great music, great dancers.....

  • not sure which one the red head was, but overall she was better. her moves were sharper and right on the beat...

  • @broadwayfanatic226 I agree. You can see this even better on the original DVD. Meg Gillentine (the red head) puts the finesse & finishing touches on her moves, right down to her finger tips. I never get tired of seeing this performance. Its critics should see it on the "Fosse" DVD to give its full due. It's the standout of the DVD, IMO. (Meantime, check out the rare Gwen Verdon/Chita Rivera "Nowadays/Hot Honey"s on YouTube. Audio/video ain't great, but you can see the performances were.)

  • Dana Moore is truly brilliant!

  • GREAT PERFORMANCE!!

  • This is sorta lacklustre, ain'tit, compared to his other stuff? Jumps bamps wows and all that, and this is sorta "yes we're moving, it's dancing enough."

  • SO GOOD

  • you are AWESOMEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! x x x x

  • MARAVILHOSAS

  • Kinda wish the girls had shorts or a skirt on but still, who doesn't love this song!

Maravillosas

  • I've seen other performances with Fosse's choreography, and I have to say this really isn't his best work. Other dance numbers I've seen of his leave me in awe--this was mediocre at best. I mean, booby shaking and cartwheels? The cheeseball costumes don't help, either.

  • I dont know a lot about dancing, but I know performing. And these girls looked like they were having fun and they really gave a great performance. A lot of energy. I enjoyed watching it.

  • I think they bumped into eachother a lil at 4:30 either way still was GREAT! I like the stage dance version of this better than the movie

  • If you did not realise, the choreography in the movie is all based on this. Also, do you really think they filmed the movie in only one shot? Less mistakes tend to be found when you can keep filming till perfection.

  • You do know that's Bob Fosse's original choreography, don't you? So basically you're calling one of the greatest choreographers alive pathetic. You don't know very much about dance, do you?

  • @aimeemassage1

um, haha yes i do bloody know who the choreographer is, i'm not an idiot! and i was mainly insulting the dancers not bob fosse, i have a tremendous amount of respect for him, but this was just not one of his strongest shows i guess, but it was still fabulous it's those horrible actors that make it pathetic! i mean actually, i could do better then that when i was 5 NO JOKE, and i do fuckin know alot about dance, i'm a perfessional ballet dancer, and i do modern, jazzSO I'M RIGHT!

  • the singing doesn't really have any differences when they sing!u get what i mean? it's like it's the same level the whole way through! (almost like monotone! really)...............hmm gimme rutie henshall any day! lol

  • that is unkind and uncalled for they have good enough voices and ur just to blinded by the movie to see real talent. not saying that i don't like the movie that's one of my all time favorites but you need to respect the classics man!

  • ockroot --- you are a troll

  • thanks for combining these two pieces, they really belong together. I really have to buy this DVD.

  • can anybody provide me with a link to an instrumental version of this exact song please? Thanks

  • me too!!

  • 40+....good job!

  • Does anyone know if there is video of Judi Dench doing this?

  • Omg.. I love the routine at the end but their giant wedgies are so distracting!

  • LOL - I KNOW!!! I literally almost up-chucked in my mouth when they spun!

  • @GreenTeaGirl17 I think Fosse would have loved it that way!

  • @GreenTeaGirl17 THE WEDGIES ARE THE BEST PART.. LOVE IT.....

  • @GreenTeaGirl17 Personally I like looking at those fine asses with that fine fabric shoved up it!

  • Dana Rocks! Weehee!

  • This is very entertaining. :)

I prefer the movie but thats just my opinian.

  • you should look honey rag by simone kleinsma and pia douwes that's the best version!

  • you're right simone and pia are better, more synchroon

  • i can do that!

  • Fosse and that style of dance isn't that hard

its just introquite. or how ever you spell it (:

  • Tell me about it. I was in show choir in high school, and our director had a major jones for Fosse. The steps aren't really that hard, it's just the timing and remembering all of them. He had his hands full getting thirty teenagers to do this stuff, let me tell you (especially the boys). I'm sure we gave the poor man ulcers.

  • yes fosse style dancing every move has to be exactly perfect

  • Wow! Hot honey rag is a really hard number to perform, and you guys were simply amazing!

  • awesome!!!!!!!!!!

  • the best honey hot rag i've seen! i live for the Honey hot rag!

  • Yeah this is good, but they always seem a little off. If Bob himself had been there it would have been much better.

  • how so?

  • @kralahome Actually, they are astonishingly together MOST of the time. It's just when they are the tiniest bit off it shows so obviously. I guess the routine was choreographed to go with Velma's line about the act with her sister- "And THIS, we did in PERFECT UNISON." It's so unusual to see a Fosse dance with two people side by side doing exactly the same thing....

  • @designgreg thats the point... it is about the "perfect unison" line... this is what shes talking about in "i cant do it alone" roxie agrees to do it with her

  • yeahh this is greaat!1

  • Ya know, that might just be the best Hot Honey Rag I've ever seen.
