@Erikolson99 actually the second sound is a synth sound from the nord wave (almost organ like, yes) which receives MIDI from the electro 3. controlling the volume with a volume pedal.

I just got my NE3 a couple weeks ago, and I can't even come close to that acoustic piano tone you're getting. Is that a pre-loaded sample bank or from the sample library? What amp do you run it through? As well, you're playing sounds soooo dynamic compared to what the standard piano sounds seem to provide. Are you using the volume pedal to add some dynamic depth while you're playing? Either way this is beautiful, and if you haven't fully composed this, DO IT NOW!!

I used the "studio grand yamaha c7". but there is now a XL version available with some extra layering samples. Sounds even better.

Additionally I used the internal compressor and the internal reverb (I think it was set to "stage" at a low amount)

sorry that this comment might be a bit rude, but nearly every keyboard nowadays has midi. At least every keyboard that is not a toy or a veryvery beginner keyboard (minimoog voyager old school doesn't have midi because it is "old" version of voyager and the midi has been left out intentionally)

From what I've read, the NE3 does have MIDI capabilities. You can connect with other workstations/keyboards as well and use 2 different patches from the NE3 at the same time.

you can't layer two patches on NE3... only thing you can do is to control the lower manual of the organ with some other keyboard that has different drawbar settings but that uses the same effects...
