    The American soprano graduated from Rice University and Sam Houston State University. She has been a finalist and won many American competitions. In addition, Ms. Sampson has appeared throughout the United States with the Santa Fe Opera, Dicapo Opera Theater, Augusta Opera, National Lyric Opera among others. Roles include: Mimi, Juliette, Anna (The Merry Widow), Micaela, and Violetta. Upcoming performances include the title role in Janáceks Šárka.
