I got the black DVC100 platinum.

Will it work for me as well?

People told me that some DVC100 platinums do not support 60hz.

When I put it on 60hz I only see the picture in black and white, so no colour.

Sorry for the late reaction but it does work.

Just click recording, open AMCAP and select Secam B.

That's it, then you've got your colour ;)

HELP ME PLS!!! Ihave the dazzle DVC 100 dvd recorder and I have tried in Instant DVD Recorder which came with my Dazzle (and sucks balls) and all I get is a black screen. I can hear the sound of my Xbox but I can't see anything on my PC. And I have tried in windows movie maker but I can't see anything there either and there is no sound. Can someone please help me? I would appreciate it very much!

make sure u got ur y splitters in correctly and make sure u have got it on ur redion. e.g if ur from america go settings and ntsc and if from europe do settings then pay_i or a letter but make sure its pal

I am not using y splitters, but that doesn't matter anymore because it's working already. but to film I need AMcap AND another program. aren't you supposed to be able to record only with AMcap?

I had the same problem, and i tried to fix for days. It turned out that the problem was that my xbox was still in HDTV not TV you can change this at the back

i need help my capture card was working fine until i tried to use it the other day. I was on pinnicle studios the screen was black and white in the preview screen like always, so i went on to amcap and got this message "unable to render the video preview screen the parameter is incorrect [080070057 / 11878]" then no preview shows, and when i go onto filter and select secam b or other secams nothing changes. I have tried reinstalling amcap but nothing i still get error.

you need to change the save destination. under the save destination tab, change it to Hard Disk folder by clicking on browse...

you can just start capturing in studio in b&w then open amcap go options>>secam_l or b cant remember but then on studio it should work in colour with sound its how my freind does it.

Why don't you just go into Pinnacle Studio 10 or whatever version and pick NTSC? Then it works with Sound and it's in colour, and it works in 60HZ.
