  • WHOA! now i know wat will smith was talkin bout in dat episode in fresh prince when he was locked in the basement with tisha campbell FUNNY!

  • whos Teddy..

  • @MrSoulful69 Teddy Riley is one third of the group Guy, the other two are Aaron Hall and Timmy Gatling. Teddy Riley went on to make Rump Shaker and then later formed Blackstreet (Dont Leave Me Girl)

  • @meezleton gotcha..

  • Howard University fall of 1988...memories

  • Thumbs up if you came here because Deion Sanders is calling Cam Newton's name like this!

  • @staypaidtre829 They were singing CAM! OH CAM! On CBS' Pregame show last Sunday. Didn't know Deion started it. LOL

  • CAM!! WHOOO CAM!

  • Whoa Cam!!! If Teddy Riley wants to get back on his feet after that investment cash was stolen from him. He needs to remix this song for Cam Newton, & license it to the Carolina Panthers, & NFL Network. Then release the single on iTunes. This is a classic song that can be reborn, and help Teddy get off his arse with very minimal effort...

  • @CampbellEndeavors Not a bad idea. Would Teddy give up the rights? Who owns the rights to the song? Who has a marketing agreement with the Panthers? The wheels are churning bro.

  • when this song starts out it sounds like Levert's Coolin. It don't matter cause I LOVES both of them songs. GOOD job Teddy Riley.

  • jam with me

  • DA DUM DUM DIDDAY

  • the entire song lyrics: jam, jam, jam, teddy jam for me (repeat)

  • nfl network brought me here

    WOAH CAM!

  • @afanofmj A "jam" doesn't necessarily require singing, it's just music in general. A jam can range from a jazz solo to a lyric-filled rock ballad. Teddy Riley is a more of a producer and music arranger, and not really a singer. This song is entitled "Teddy's Jam" which means he's the focal point of the song, so we're listening to what Teddy does best. Had it been entitled "Aaron's Jam", I'm sure it would have had more lyrics. You are right though, it was a hit back then, now it's a classic!

  • coulda swore he said titty jam...lol

  • Club rocker right here. Oh, the 80s, how i miss you.

  • this song came on my dad's radio in the car and it was like jam. oohhh JAMM. ....jam .

it made me crack up so much that i knew i had to look it up.

  • Love this song! My girls and I made a video off this song @ the Abee Square Mall in Brooklyn (no longer there).

  • @shataya27 God I miss that mall. That officially ended Brooklyn as we knew it. That was the chill spot!

  • dum dum diddy

  • One of the greatest works of music that Teddy Riley ever conceived! This is a classic in ever sense of the word!

  • This reminds me of Say It Loud by Rodney O and Joe Cooley!

  • all they said was jam n oh.

  • There was a radio station that was starting in Wichita, KS in the early 90's. For two days before they started regular broadcasting they just had Hall's intro looping over and over.

  • @yoyodyne33 You must be talking about K-Buzz, i'm from Wichita and I remember them doing that when they first started.

  • @BlaqueReign25 I'm also from Wichita and listen to this with my dad and my brother on the road, but now I live in South Carolina and I'm still listening to this. Those were some good memories.

  • @yasmine123ification Yes those were some good memories, I still reside here in Wichita, and its such a shame the radio station we have now, plays nothing like this, so much to the point that I haven't played the radio in years it seems like. Honestly the only things that keep me in Wichita are family and the cost of living if it weren't for those two things, I don't think I would still be residing here.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!! I remember the NBA using it in one of their videos. Awesome.

  • i missed the 1980's born in 93' but i love this shit

  • Back when this came out I was in the Marines. When this song came on the radio my Admin chief would tell me to BLAST IT!!! great memories!!!

  • @ImissedThe1950s haha damn that's awesome

  • @ImissedThe1950s So was he like, "private, blast that radio, NOOOOOOOOOOWWWWW!!!!"

  • Muah!!!!

  • I used to do a mean troop to this song, ahh memories!

  • DUM DUM DIDDY!

  • 92.3 needs to good old school, not just on sunday nights

  • Little Rock needs to have a radio station that play nothing but music like this

  • Something about this just make you wanna hit the dance floor even when you don't even know how to dance.

  • Like if the first time you heard this was in one of those old skool NBA superstars highlight VHS tapes!

  • The song doesn't need no lyrics, you just hit the play button and act a fool!

  • u dumb dumb dumb BITCHEEEEEEEEEE

  • Nothing but Jam the whole song. This is the pinnacle of song writing...

  • dumdum diddy

  • *roger rabbits*

  • always reminds me of will smith "Teddy!...jam"

  • My name is Teddy so I had this on my answering machine when I was in college. Still my joint to this day.

  • Anybody have the NBA version of this song, where they show different dunks?

  • @socalsocal88 Damn, I need to see that one

  • @amtownsyou It was hard. MTV showed it a few times during the '88 season. Had everybody, Dominique Wilkins 360 double pump slam dunk, Daryl Dawkins shattering backboards, Clyde The Glide, Jordan from the free throw line ( tongue sticking out), all that.

  • @socalsocal88 Word, I just saw it on youtube a second ago lol, just search "teddys jam nba" Thanks for the info though!

  • Sing it Teddy!

  • @emceewhiterabbit This ain't wack this is 80's R&B at its best you had to be there to apperciate it. Even rappers sampled it like Redman for his first album on a song called "Jam 4 U".

  • Have to dance to this now!!!.

  • I can't listen to this song without thinking about The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. "Dum Dum Didday" lol

  • @stu0812 EXACTLY! lol I was just saying that to my husband, too funy!

  • This was my Jam back in the day. Oh what great memories.... :-)

    Thanks for posting this song.

  • i came here from listenin to rebecca black......my ears stopped bleeding :)

  • back in 1992, greensboro's 102 jamz's "jam machine" malfunctioned and it was stuck on this song for 2 days straight repeating the "ooh jam" part over and over again!

  • @JEazy86

That must've been so damn funny. even up to this day when I'm in the middle of a crowd, me or one of my friends break the ice by singing the "Jaam, oooh jaaam!" part and someone has to laugh, never fails.
