This is useful and cool. I wish there were more channles like Speak Swedish Stupid where they explain you more about Sweden and Swedish and entertains you a lot. I'm so passionate about Swedish, I'm even thinking about learning Swedish massage and practice it on my friends :)
The reason why I'm watching this is because my boyfriend is Swedish and he's bringing a friend the next time I see him and I'm not sure if he speaks any English. I only know Endlish and I don't want to make it hard for him to talk to me.
@Thekenrock En ol, tack! For the way of pronouncing (<-spelling?) go to google translate type "En ol, tack!" with 2dots on the O thesentencealthoughIadded tack insteadofplease due to that please on google translate please is vanligen (the same meaning as tack, but google does it wrong to use vanligen instead of tack) so now you get to hear how the full sentence will sound as a swedish person would say it while ordering a beer :) Hope it helps. (o in ol and a vanligen usually has 2 dots abovethem
All languages are hard to learn, and the swedish isn't exception. I've been in Sweden for a month trying to learn it but it's hard, I think i will do with the english:). WON'T stay here for long.
Du suger på att lära ut, du måste ju artikulera orden så folk från andra länder fattar. I denna video så äter du ju upp halva orden, uttalar dem för snabbt och har inte ordentlig pausering.
Can you maybe do them a tiny bit slower as well? Say it fast once, then slower a few times, then fast again so that we can learn it properly... i've having some real trouble with my pronounciation but videos like this will really help so thank you! :D
@perhelpyou Really useful. I'd appreciate more of these, definitely. My grandfather's grandparents came over from Sweden in the 1870's, and my grandfather's generation was the first to grow up without the Swedish language. I, with my predilection to learning foreign languages, am trying to reclaim the heritage now. I really appreciate this--because, while the vocabulary and grammar are easy, the pitch accent is tricky, and hearing these phrases and words spoken by a native is priceless.
Du borde inte skippa bokstäver, det gör det svårare! Som att du säger ja när det står jag och de när det står det :P

Om du ska lyckas lära någon svenska borde uttala det tydligare, inte med en sådan snobbdialekt...
