  • @SPZero - 100% agree if god indeed created the universe and everything in it he must be a psychopath to take Senna at 34.

@JodieClark - Senna may have instructed them to weld the column but they have do fucking do it properly.

  • Unfortunately you are right. If it was not Senna I doubt there would have been so drastic and abrupt changes in GP safety. It's a pity what kind of a soul he was,was not understood. He hate politics.Politics took the joy of racing - this is a thing Ayrton was afraid of.Looking and listening to Ayrton at Imola saying hello to my..our dear friend Alain makes me cry.It is amazing how people,18 years later, still comment his life and death which means his deed is remembered.

He has the God right to win!

  • SHHHHHITTT CARR.....WHY??????????????

  • Even gods can bleed...

  • long live Senna

  • на 5:37 откровенно снайпер работал,скорее двое!Мне тоже жаль жизнь человека решают деньги...((

  • Upsetting

  • I didn't appreciate the "blood and brain" remark or the close up of blood. Disrespectful

  • SAD

  • a wyiliam matou eficou tudo dito por nao dito o dinheiro abafa tudo.

  • i am amazed at this man , he was truly a special person . i just wonder if anyone knows , how did he know eric comas life was in danger when he ran to his wreck to stabilize his head ? did he himself have medical training, not that it matters but it does so what an awesome person he was , to jump out of his car and brave all those cars flying past and risking his life for another , much respect for Aryton Senna.

  • The truth is if it hadn't been for Ayrton, many many other drivers would have lost their lives since. It had to be Ayrton to make everybody notice and say 'right everybody we need to seriously improve safety'. The drivers of today owe their lives to people like Senna everytime they step in a racing car. Much as I don't like to say it, if Roland Ratzenberger had been the only fatality, fewer people would have taken notice and one day more drivers would have died.

  • @JRRacing85 I'm inclined to agree. I really dont want to say that somebody incredible in F1 had to die for safety to improve, but it is the cold truth. It is also the cold truth that many drivers - arguably Martin Brundle in AUS 96, Robert Kubica in CAN 07, Ralf Schumacher in USA 04 - would've died had it not been for those sweeping safety improvements brought in after Senna's death. A tragic shame to lose such an incredible man, but we find solace in the fact our sport is safe today

  • No dought the column went.

  • PART 23 MISSING..

  • why did sennas head move?

  • @ZarataOfficial Because he moved it...

  • @jichaelmackson1958 i doubt that... he was not counscious. more likely it moved because of the serious trauma he suffered. maybe a body reaction. espasms or something.

  • @geraldo209 The fact that he moved his head proves he was indeed concious, when you get knocked in the head you dont just close your eyes and drop instantly, you get drowsy and "drift" off.

  • @jichaelmackson1958 to this day i still wish he was conscious my friend. but im sorry to tell you he was not. and that head movement was caused by a deep deep major brain damage. due to the huge impact and posterior trauma and skull fracture. its diferent to get knocked out by a 200 mph impact and a tire blown flying hit your head. kinda impossible to resist such a hit to any human being.

  • @Alpire98 In some respects yes, but the Team Williams or Sir Frank Were not done. Patrick Head was Prosecuted and Found guilty in Italian court for manslaughter and so was Adrian Newey but neither of them arrested. But Williams were not prosecuted as a team.

  • Nothing in this description of how Senna died is glorious its just extremely sad and in places insensitive. Its extremely hard to take even now reading about the injuries that he suffered.

  • LA FORMULA 1 EN GENERAL Y EL EQUIPO WILLIMAS EN PARTICULAR ESTAN EN DEUDA CON LA FAMILIA DE AYRTON Y CON TODOS LOS QUE SEGUIMOS LA FORMULA 1, NADIE FUE CULPADO NI PAGO POR ESTE ACCIDENTE QUE PODRIA HABER SIDO EVITADO -con la tecnologia de esos años no se podia soldar un tubo para alargar la columna de direcc. asi nomas- Y LA CARRERA SIGUIO SIN INFORMAR DE LA MUERTE DE AYRTON. LO QUE PUEDE EL DINERO,,,, Williams tiene una deuda pendiente ...

  • Your choice of words could have been better in parts................

  • The Greatest ever! Ayrton made me a fan of F1. Still to this day, I have interest in the sport because of the heartbreak that I felt when Senna was taken away.

  • This report really hit me hard. I couldn't stop crying. I give thanks and praise to the photographer for vowing never to show the pictures of Ayrton Senna after his helmut was taken off.

  • Maybe Eric Comas just came to help him like Senna helped him in his accident.

  • @Bakeerful Yes good point of view.

  • If god has a racing team then no question, Ayrton is lead driver.

  • What is most disturbing is that before that very race senna, was concerned about the safety of the track, he felt scared and anxious.

Rubens Barrichelo almost lost his life there too on the same weekend smae track. 3 fuckin people nearly died.

    RIP Roland Ratzenburger

RIP Ayrton Senna, one of the greatest Human Beings to ever live.

  • @videoq2008 Just a quick question, where did the text in your videos come from? Cheers

  • williams killed senna we know all

  • *TEAR*

  • May the road rise up to meet you.

May the wind always be at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face,

and rains fall soft upon your fields.

    And until we meet again,

May God hold you in the palm of His hand

  • Pra variar, o Galvão falando merda....

  • So horrible, you know there is no God when that can happen to a guy who tried to help the people of his country and some fucking child raping murder can live on three meals a day in prison till he is in his 90's.

Senna believed in God, but how can you after knowing that?

  • @jayhawk66 Totally agree, the steering column was lengthened at Senna's request . Because there wasn't time to order a new part from the factory in the UK they instead welded an extension to the existing column which definitely broke. I spent years blaming Williams for this but I now realise it was terrible luck and this type of thing happens in Racing. I knew they would cover it up

  • May God rest his soul !!!! RIP Senna ,,

  • :(

  • Team Williams are guilty for the death of Aryton Senna. They botched the half ass weld job on his steering colum and it failed going into the tamberello corner. It was always going to fail if there was a problem especially going into a corner were the steering colum was under pressure. THey should all be thrown out out of F1 racing.

    Mike Clark

  • @Thejodieclark Problem is Senna instructed Williams to cut through the steering column and re-weld it in 2 different places because he was unhappy with the position of the steering wheel in the car. The weld was cleared and ok'd by Senna.

Just before Senna looses control you can see his head look down into the cockpit as if something failed (cockpit camera). I don't agree with what they did but because Senna ok'd the work carried out on the steering column they are all to blame.

  • one other thing ..We didnt see any blood right after his accident while he was still sitting in his car....If there was a this type of blood flowing , just a 5 or 10 seconds later we have to see a lot of blood flowing out of his helmet..I mean I dont know..Looks like massa's crash in 2009 hungaroring..suspension column stabbed his helmet and his skull..thats it..

  • I dont understand why his head cracked in his helmet..I mean helmet has to protect his head from this kind of crash..Beside skull is the toughest bone in the body secondly there is no sharp thing at the back of his helmet ...I mean its weird that his skull cracked from ear to ear..I understand the injury which coused by suspension column which penetrated his vizor or helmet..It is a sharp thing ....

  • the whole thing is flat sketchy and as his doctor said after senna saw the rookie guy die on the saturday that he shouldn't have raced the sunday... RIP seriously he is one of the few who truly deserves peace

  • eric comas comes on the track because he wanted to try to save senna, since senna saved his life when he crashed, senna stoped his car and run and turned of eric engine, stoping it from exploding..

  • rip senna

  • From my POV his death still is a mystery and I do not go for that steering colomn "proof" - Williams will know but they won't tell - and whatever - the Champ is gone but lives in the heart of Millions...

  • Another ironic thing is that when Roland Ratzenberger crashed/died at approximately the same corner the day before Senna's crash, Ayrton hopped in a car and drove over to the scene. Never expecting that he would meet almost the same exact fate the following day. RIP Ayrton Senna, u are a Legend!

  • @PoloDKNY22 Ratzenberger died at the Villeneneuve-Curve which is 500 m ahead of Tamburello.

  • Formula 1 has lost its meaning when Senna died...He was a true legend, such a wonderful and caring man, full of spirit...I remember when someone said in an interview after the accident : '' I am not religious, but after he crashed,in one moment he sighed and then his body relaxed,i felt his spirit went away..''

He was a genius ,and many people didn't want to admit that..They were jealous of his talent...His talent is so huge that no one will ever be able to beat it..

    Senna we love you,legend ! <3

  • @Mynstroop That was Sid Watkins who said he looked serene.

  • @Mynstroop it was his friend who said that. the f1 doctor.

  • Comment removed

  • A legend.... Simple as that!

  • so even if senna survived that accident he would have been a severe paraplegic

  • god that eric comas thing is weird he saved his life a couple years back and he was there to watch his saviours life die comas must have felt so much pain

  • Cant watch it- makes me go cold everyone. Rest in peace Ayrton

  • Ayrton was face....after the accident, about has one photo

  • The irritating thing is that he went to the corner the day before he died and said that its too dangerous..but they told him that nothing could be done about it

  • haha

  • @UberLifeTroll what do u mean haha?

  • @dannymarton12 hahahahaha

  • that was really good i really enjoyed it, just a shame it was recorded off a tv because it was a bit hard to read sometimes, keep up the good work though buddy :)

  • I never knew that he was carrying an Austrian flag in the car that day.

Ayrton Senna truly was an incredibly special human being. There have not been many others like him, certainly no racing drivers like him before or since.

  • that was a good video, a little incorrect in some areas but never the less a good video. the true cause of his accident has never been proven, but the agreed cause was that the car simply got loose on the bumps. before the race senna told hill to stay off the inside of tamburello because hill has a lower ride height. also williams were recording a data feed from sennas car and proved there was still turning force in the wheel before he hit the wall. but still, great job!

  • @RgRacingTV The data from Williams in total is completely sketchy at best. There are also those who think the onboard video was doctored (don't believe that is true). However, the data that I saw collected and presented shows a sharp change in the force in the steering column, signifying that the column MUST have snapped before impact. Also, the video leading to the crash shows how wobbly the column and wheel was going into the corner. The column broke before the impact into the wall. Period.

  • @jayhawk66 the FW16 was designed to have flex in the steering column to make up for the forces from the horrible handling since the active suspension was taken away. the onboard wasnt doctored, it was because all that was recorded at that time was live feeds and at that point, they switch to schumacher, but it runs for a further 6 seconds while the trasition from cameras happens. the sharp change was senna correcting the back end slipping out.

  • @RgRacingTV Senna's car didn't slip out. Period. Nor did Senna's onboard show he did anything to correct the car if it HAD slipped (which again, it didn't). I also don't believe the onboard was "doctored", but the loss of significant data is very suspicious. And again, the fact stands: the wheel on Senna's car that day "flexed" much more than it did on any other onboard of his car collected that season. And the wheel suddenly turned straight to the left as the tires kept still. The column broke.

  • i got the link for this video from another video in the comments, and to be honest i'd prefer not to watch it

  • What is the photo at 7:49??

  • I'm born in 1998, but I have heard all the stories about him. Out of the stories, he was and is the best driver till now. It's really sad that the man who cared about saftey, dies in an accident.

  • nunca sera esquecido !

  • F1 died along with this guy....

  • @felipegalindobr I couldn't agree more..

  • @felipegalindobr No it did not.

  • Where did you get the picture at 2:23? I've been researching how this accident happened for years (always disbelieved the stupid conspiracy theories) but I was never aware that any photos of Senna being taken to the helicopter were released. All we'd need is a photo/video from the inside of Tamburello, to show whether or not it was car failure, or simply a slide off the track (with little run off and the freak accident that killed him).

  • I watched this race and accident live as it happened. I am a huge Senna fan...no one drove like he did. The doctor revived Senna at the track so the race wouldn't be stopped. Italian law dictates that any death at a sporting event must be stopped and the investigation must begin immediately. Sid Watkins knew this and in order to restart the race he revived a clearly dead Senna so this could happen. We lost a fantastic racer and hero of F1.

  • It really sucks to see how many people didn't know who he was. No one I work with has ever heard of him. They just think that nascar is the true motorsport. Sad.

  • @freewill51 ONLY in the US!!

  • REALLY **sad**

  • How can ppl blame Willams still?? Is REALLY that he died but no1 could of planned for that 2 happen. It was a racing accident. Nothing more, nothing less

  • God Bless you Ayrton!

    Descanse em paz!

  • its always the legends who have the most compassion for racing and driver safety that somehow end up going

its just not right that someone should go out like that

  • THere was a photo of his head without the helmet while being lifted to the Hospital...

  • Awful, terrible (not the video, but the crash, of course) Way worse than I thought at first. A real nightmare turned into truth, with Ayrton´s skull almost split into two like a broken coconut... I only guessed he suffered from inner lethal injuries in his brain, not visible from outside. Poor, poor Senna. Honestly, when I remember what happened to Massa with just one "little" piece of suspension, I just can´t imagine what may happen to any pilot who may suffer a Senna-like crash again...

  • Erik Comas intentionally entered the red flagged race, to be there for Ayrton. he has said Ayrton saved his life and that he was too late to save Ayrton's life. Erik Comas was so distressed after this accident he retired from this race upon returning to his pit.

    Bless You Ayrton Senna! Godspeed!!!

  • the photografer who had take picture of his head i belive he was not the same man after that

oh men its so weard ! seeing this videos !

    why him !!!! WHY !!!?????

god have weard plans for everyone fuck!! i almost cry seeing this all decomentary about him

a legend !! will always be the best !! not just on formula 1 is a example of person !

AYRTON REST IN PEACE YOU ARE ON OF MY IDOLS !

  • how did the brain come out

  • does anyone know the name of the piece of music. very fitting

  • @rahulpower "cheap tactics?" Is that why he is renowned to be one of the best, if not, the best driver of all time. He stated that Prost purposely took him out of the race, I do believe the year before, and he took him out the next. He basically got even with him.

  • this is a truly excellent video on a very sad subject. the only remote piece of solice i can take from this is that he wouldnt of felt any pain. i have a vague memory of this accident and like many when i saw his head move i thought he must of been ok. senna will always remain one of f1's greatest. there with likes of nuvolari and fangio. i dont hold a grudge against williams like some do but i would like the to atleast come clean about this crash. admit what happened

  • wasnt just the wheel that hit him... the suspension when through his helmet, might of already been said, in previous comments the same helmet in this video was in an F1 exhibition in a museum near to my home, still with blood stains and damage on the helmet. was sad to see.

  • @bluebellModelrailway

Is the helmet he was wearing during the Imola 1994 still available to see?

  • @1HeerenveenSC NO was only a week exhibition, i guess its gone back to who ever owns it,

  • Tanks for video rip senna

    Foxtc81 belgium

    You'll never Forget

  • ayrton senna

  • Um documentario muito bem feito e muito professional.

  • Brilliant video well done, learnt a lot of new things from watching this. Very tragic . R.I.P Senna

  • the eric comas thing is weird, incredible that he should be on Senna's death scene just as Senna was at, almost his death scene

its very sad and tragic that Senna met such a violent and painful end, not the way true champions should go out.

  • @Mirren81 Eric Comas was the one that arrived his crash scene. It wasnt probably no mistake got back on the track and Eric wasnt for sure trying to rejoin the competition. He just found out about Ayrton's crash and sped up to the place bcoz 2 years earlier, Ayrton has stopped his car and helped Eric after a crash he had. Ayrton saved Eric's life who was unconscious and had his right foot on the throttle, his car risking to blow off. Eric said he hated that he couldnt do same for Ayrton.

  • @Mirren81 senna would not have felt a thing. it would have been quicker than most poeple think

  • sometimes i think i will never get over his death, even now after 16 years i still think about him alot.....he didnt deserve to die in that way....i hate williams for the way they did that steering column....i still feel his pain

  • i almost cried after that

  • @tzontzon1996 i've been crying sennas death until now :'(

  • @tzontzon1996 did... i was born on may 16th, 94... i am really sad i missed that era

  • I don´t say anything, I just translate (with my poor English) Ayrton´s best biography, written by Ernesto Rodrigues. You are the one who should prove you are right. You probably know Sid Watkins to say that Adriane was lying and Ernesto (the biographer) was saying a lie too.

I just thank you for your comments =) And I invite you to keep watching the videos. =)

    Best wishes

  • @videoq2008 Your English is very good. Don't worry about those negatives comments. The most people are not capable to do such nice video. Keep up your good job !!

  • Eric Comas got in the back of a safety car to get back to the pits. He saw Sennas helmet and bursted out into tears. Senna always said that he didn't want to live as a disabled [erson. And if he did had a serious crash he hoped it would be over soon.

  • Where did you read about Comas's experience?

  • I read about it in a biografhic book about Senna from Jan Segers.

  • I have read this in a book called Echoes of Imola, a very interesting read it is as well.

Also includes an interesting quote from Sid Watkins where he doubts that Senna's helmet was actually penetrated, only cracked, and he says the injuries were consistant with a blunt impact from the wheel.

  • Blackcluck, in this video, at minut 06:06, you can see the space where helmet was penetrated. So small, but fatal.
