I was in Union Square in San Francisco during the X-mas shopping season when a well-dressed gentleman was giving free hugs. He had a sign, and no one wanted to go near him. Me, being devil-may-care, went up and hugged him. It was one of the warmest, most sincere hugs I have recieved. Warm, reassuring, comfortable. I felt like a baby.
