Here's a little tidbit for all you amp lovers out there: Paul is actually using a PRS brand AMP when he is playing here. Not sure what type, but it was looking VERY new and had a great sound.
No, it's a demonstration of their new "master voicing control" circuit... basically it seems to be a clean gain boost, not unlike a Duncan Pickup Booster, which adds punch to the signal and drives the amp harder... Would make the vintage like Mc Carty pickups overdrive an amp pretty hard. Probably would scream on a good tube amp!
