I have to say, even though I have found relatively few videos with this lineup, this is probably my favorite. With such powerful voices like Guy Penrod, David Phelps, AND Marshall Hall, to acheive that blend is a true accomplishment. With all due respect to Mark Lowry, Michael English and others, this should be the current group.

Guy Penrod......as far as I'm concerned, a guy with a voice like that, who looks like that, and is so in love with the Lord can wear whatever he wants! I think he is beautiful, amazingly talented and I think his boots are hot!

This just might be one of the best combinations of singers.... David, Guy, Marshal and Bill.... I still like Mark as the baritone though. Marshall is a wonderful singer....

@epa416 yes guy penrod has a new solo CD out called "Breath Deep" I believe it's out now. and David has several solo cds. try looking at a local christian bookstore or on the gaither website

this is my favorite version of the GVB. They are all extraordinary...David is probably my favorite gospel singer ever, but all of these guys give him a run for his money in terms of sheer talent...amazing.

I think David Phelps is so anointed...he sings with such passion.  Guy Penrod does, too. I thank the Lord Jesus that they do not hinder the Spirit by lifting their hands and standing when the Lord is moving in the song. Hallelujah!

Guy Penrod is one of the best gospel singers I have listened to. When he sings a song, you can feel the his emotions and God's touch right down to the bottom of your heart. There are a lot of entertainers that sing, however, he sings and makes you feel the song to your very core. He is a true and wonferfil blessing from The Lord!!!!

Ah..... my bad. I have scoured the world trying to find a better singer than David Phelps. He is unreal. I'm seeing him for the 6th time this december. I agree. This is the best version of the vocal band.
