Dynamite was tough. He beat on his wife and put a shotgun in her mouth. He also was such a great guy that he abused animals by giving them drugs just for kicks. He also would slip drugs in peoples drinks as a joke which could have killed them. I think he was a fine wrestler but he was a class A jerk in real life and karma came and bit him right in the butt.

I remember when Dynamite Kid was part of the British Bulldogs,one of the greatest tag teams ever.It's weird how closely Chris Benoit mimicked Dynamite Kid's wrestling style(including the missing teeth and flying headbutt).He was almost a mirror image of Dynamite.Benoit should of seen the warnings signs though.As Dynamite's high impact style took it's toll on him in his latter years.He was practically a vegetable after all the damage was done.Benoit would suffer even worse consequences....

You know, Leon "Vader" White WISHES pro wrestling was a little more fake, especially after Stan Hanson broke his orbital bone with an errant punch and he had to fight the rest of the match with only his eyelids holding his right eye in.

Leon toughed it out because Leon White is the man. But that doesn't mean he's a masochist, or he wouldn't have wished that he didn't have to have surgery after the match.

On the other hand, with a little makeup before the match it could have been a dramatic and believable angle with Leon pulling off the mask to show a hideous injury and then fighting on.

This match took place in March,'91. AJ used to hold a singles tournament once a year with a lot of big names. Stan and Dyno met in a singles match for the very first time and the very last time. I wish this match woulda taken place 5 to 10 years earlier, because as you mention,Dyno was in his worst shape and actually retired from wrestling in December. I remember he returned to AJ in January,'89 after a three-year stint in WWF and was already off the juice not what he looked like before that.

Well it was not much of a sucker punch, Rougeau hit him straight in the face when they stood eye to eye. Unfortunately Kid´s reaction wasn´t good enough. But that idiot DK mobbed Rougeau long way before, so he got what he deserved.

It should be pointed out that Rougeau has admitted it was a sucker punch when Dynamite had a cup of coffee in his hand, secondly it should be pointed out that both Dynamite and Bad News Brown ( who broke up the fight) stated that Dynamite was hit with knuckle dusters. All parties confirm that Rougeau was very quick to run away after the assault.

It was a sucker punch, they waited for Dynamite's chronies like Hart, Davey Boy, Muraco etc's to walk past. Made Dynamite feel like he had them scared, then the Rougeau's were talking to Pat Patterson, Rougeau punched Dynamite as Patterson was walking off. He hit him with a roll of quarters expecting Dynamite to fall down, but he didn't then Bad News broke them up. they both feared for their lives, wondering what would happen next. I think they were glad to see the back of eachother.

I', actually suprised out how misinformed you are, try reading Dynamite's book and Rougeau's shoot interview. Both admit it to be a cheap shot whilst the Rougeau's acted as if they were scared of Dynamite when he was walking down a corridor as they spoke to Patterson. Rougeau's dad told him to hit Dynamite with a roll of quarters, and he did when Dynamite walked past expecting Dynamite to fall down which he didn't.
