"Blood Atonement" is used by many participants of the MMMassacre. Penrose wrote of both in his "Blood Atonement" book. Blood Atonement was often extended to non Mormons. I don't agree "B.A. has nothing to do with it".

I agree. There are several quotes from Mormon leaders, in particular Brigham Young who stated that it was pure love to practice blood atonement. "The wickedness & ignorance of the nations forbid this principle's being in full force, but the time will come when the law of God will be in full force..This is loving our neighbor as ourselves; if he needs help, help him; and if he wants salvation and it is necessary to spill his blood on the earth in order that he may be saved, spill it"

A great talk but an odd error. listened to all of it. Blood Atonement can be traced to Nauvoo. To the Polygamy Revelation. It permeates the theology. I posted a video on "Champollion being well known in 1833 America".
