  • I used to watch Mancari play when he played for the Ottawa 67's back in his junior days ....hoping he can do well for the Canucks or their AHL team....

  • @MillerIsJesus no, i think he will... canucks need a scapper since they got rid of Glass and "Rypien"!

  • not no mooooooreeeee ahaha lol!

  • @zDeagleSwapped incorrect, Chara's Hardest is 105.9MPH

  • He's a Canucks now!!!

  • Idiots, this was the hardest in '08. All you dipshits are like Chara 105.9...well that happened in 2010 idiots.

  • @zDeagleSwapped haaaaaa his is 105.9

  • dude some nhl guys cant even do that

  • that is not considered a hard hit that my friend is considered a puck fuck

  • chara 105.9

  • Thumbs up if you thought it was a video game for the first 10 seconds

  • this is is fake it a bloody video game

  • I love how the guy said 'That is a Recooord" weirdo announcer.

  • hehe ever heard of Shea weber? the kid who put the puck through the net?

  • Fuck Thats Not A Record, Al iafrate Go It A 105,2 Mph!!

  • @bobhoul

This is an AHL record not an NHL or hockey record.

  • Brett Hull 118.6

  • @uberkrunkninjagod You mean Bobby?

  • @1banez oh yea my bad

  • fail count: 00:11 "thats the fastest time so far"......1:26 "102,6"

  • This is the AHL record not NHL, and Chara has the record in the NHL at like a 105 so this is pretty impressive at this skill level

  • @cooncum1

This is impressive at any level period. Anything over 100mph is way beyond 95 percent of NHL players.

  • 106.6 mph by chad kilger in the leafs skills comp. is the record

  • What are you smoking man, that is impossible

  • @KingofHockey15 no its not he just has SKILL

  • That sounds extremely hard. More like 160 km/h. The hardest shot in skills competition is currently held by Zdeno Chara at 105.2 mph. There are certainly players outside the skills competition who shoots much harder but 160 mph sounds extremely hard. That would be over 250 km/h.

  • bobby hull..118mph

    legit shit

  • @toaakanox its 106

  • lol

  • my hardest shot is only like 50-60........sux nards

  • @alucardXX2009 me too

  • my good wristers are only like 40-50 so its ok

  • i have a real hard time actually getting the puck in the air....ha. So its mostly 50 mph gliding on the ice....not good

  • @IntoxicatedCrow do we care

  • all of you saying you hit 80's and your 12 or whatever... try aiming it at a goal, getting a real speed gun to register the speed, and then talk to us, we don't care.

  • thats a record

  • i did 78 and im 13. yea i wont lie saying ive did 1000

  • yea me too, i hit 81, im 4 playing bantam bb

  • yea your 13 your probably a fat mother fucker, cus your obviously not strong

  • chara 103.5

  • do you have any idea how hard did Babchuk hit it? i read that he won a contest, but it didn't say when and how hard....

  • ur a fucking liar dude put a video up f u can

  • Haha ookayyy *wink*

  • hahahahahaha, everybody believes you for sure.

  • you probably play house go home

  • thats as good as charas, your just a lil kid who wants attention and thinks hes cool

  • ʎnƃ ʇɐɥʇ ɟo ʇuoɹɟ uı puɐʇs puɐ ssɐʞɔɐɾ ʎɐןd sʇǝן

  • Comment removed

  • i did 117 and im 9

  • ya.... your tough eh?

  • i thought last year Chara did 107.2

  • no he did 105.4 and that is in the nhl this is a record in the ahl i would say since he is in the ahl during this

  • 100 mph shot is beastly, the best i ever shot was 83.4 mph

  • thats pretty good

ive hit 85 but only once

  • wow nice shot dude! and imagine if he skated into a one-timer, that would be crazy.

  • the buffalo sabres really need to call him up

  • I think the Americans are owned by the Panthers

  • hes sabres property the americans used to be owned by the sabres and panthers

  • When he did this the americans were owned by the Sabres Now Mark Mancari plays on the Portland Pirates

  • yes but the sabres and panthers both did, now the sabres have the portland pirates and have mancari

  • @sabres1709 portland pirats is tyler bouck ex team ??

  • hes not on the piates so ya, i think hes on the duck's minor team

  • wow...i wont be the goalie right there..xD

  • wow he set the record. At 102.8 that is really fast!!

  • I just want to see some tool with no game skills fire a puck 120 mph. These guys are good players with hard shots I'd like to see someone with no skills other than firing pucks...like the kid from Mighty Ducks

  • hull did have a great shot he owns the record BUT he was skating at 20 or 30 mph , which means he had the whole ice to skate and gain power , not from the blue line to the top of the circles , as it is done in today's all-star games .

  • that's a wreck-ord

  • good hockey player but i found it a lil boring but it was quite good

  • dang this kid should be in the NHL with that kind of rip, not sitting back in the AHL

  • yeah, I guess those 30 nhl gm's dont know anything... also the scouts are retarded.

  • Those jerseys are freaking sweet.

  • ithought it was a video game lol

  • sorry chara shot 103.1 u not hardest

  • ahl

  • Al Iafrate shot 105 in the skills comp.

  • souray on the oilers has the fastest slap shot in the world

  • no chara won over him and the hardest slapshot was bobby hull it was 118 mph

  • hockeydude778

i do not believe that at all especially because hardest shot ever recorded in a skills comp was 105 by Iafrate then the hardest shot ever recorded was 106.6 by kilger which was recently beaten by souray who shot 108 like a week ago and all the officials and hockey people in the league and tv hockey people say the record is 105 in skills comp and record ever is 108 now.

and also i wud like to see some proof of bobby hull shooting 118,

  • well im not sure about the hull thing i read it on wikipedia so thats probably not true and when did souray get 108 is there a video?

  • ya wikipedia is not so accurate anymore cuz of all the people who just randomly put stuff on it

and i don't think there is a video yet cuz it happened so recently but there is videos of chad kilger shooting 106.6

  • i thought souray shot 106.7 i was at the comp

  • u may be right i can't remember exactly but i thought it was 108 but i may be wrong

  • well sheldon souray just beat the world recod in the oilers skillz comp at 106.7

  • its the ahl record not the nhl.

  • At the time he was setting the AHL record.@MarcoT11

  • @MarcoT11 false retard. souray never set any record. it was Chad Kilger who shot 106.7

  • @dirtyxmas Actually, they both did. Edmonton skills comp souray hit 106.7... And kilger did the same in Toronto skills competition

  • @MarcoT11 didnt weiber get 110 mph?

  • @executionair Weber and 103

  • the reporter said 102.6 hahaha

  • lol what a dumb ass.

  • ...but the fastest shot ever recorded belongs to Bobby Hull. His slapshot was measured at 120 mph and his wristshot was clocked at 105 mph. Although he used heavier sticks than now permitted, Hull's ability was largely due to his strength and technique. (He had 22+ inch biceps)

  • The fastest slapshot ever is al layfrayte 125mph

  • its 105.2 mph by iafrate

  • ur thinking of iafrates shot that was 105 mph and the hardest shopt was chad kilger at 106.6

  • yea go amerks !!!!!!!

  • bret hull has the hardest shot which was 118 mph

  • naa, its bobby hull that has it.. 118.3 mph

  • Someone show us proof. What kind of rader gun were they using? Are you telling me that the hockey players at the time (were not as strong) and the sticks they used (not nearly as good) could break modern shots by that much? What are you going to tell me next, that Jesus is god?

  • Well, the thing is that shots with the modern hockey-era (Begining with the early Easton aluminum models) are specifically made for harder shots, and just that. Nothing more, really. And the seemingly archaic wooden sticks were just...wood. For a player to clock 118.3 with a wooden stick is not only impressive, but if said player was still in playing condition (Al Iafrate, or Al MacInnis) Could break 100, with putting only minimal effort into the shot.

But, I know what you mean.

  • Yea, I'm a huge hockey fan, and I love history. And I understand that players from the 30's and 40's and 50's and so on were impressive, at least in their own day. But if you look at all sports, there is a very common trend and that is that records get broken. Considering supliments these players take, their life is to play hockey and eating is a science and so are hockey sticks, i just find that all too difficult to believe that someone 40 years ago hit 118 and on one has come close since.

  • Again, I know what you mean. I does seem a little farfetched that someone would clock a 118 MPH slapper. Times in Hockey have changed, you're right. And that also means that there are more components to focus on, rather than just a blazing slapshot. And, most equipment manufacturers are now going more in-depth into forming hockey sticks, instead of the monotonous "HARD SHOT" which was the former focus of many players.

And, I've never played with anything but a composite so i wouldn't know.

  • the fastest shot ever was al iafrate, kilger had the hardest shot for a leaf

  • I dunno, Hull had a great shot. But I still think that nothing could compare to Macinnis cranking it up from the blue line.

  • the fastes shot ever was chad kilger

  • no it wasnt hahahahahahahah.

  • kilger has hardest shot you idiot at 106.6 thats the record for the ahl

  • He did that at a leaves skills competition dork. Not in the AHL.

  • yes it was!!!! chad kilger clocked a shot at 106+ mph... he beats al iafrate's record!!

  • I was there last night. I think we'll give him a little more respect, but the Sens are still ready to take you guys on! =:) Were you there?
