Have you tried on a laptop using battery power. This would eliminate possible noise coming from your PC's power supply. If that doesn't help, head over to the OCZ Support forums where somebody will take care of you.

Thx for the reply! Yea I wanted to test it out like that but im moving here so have no time hehe, also I want to use this with my main PC, playing some games.. Does this work with any game?

might i suggest a tesla disc, they eliminate device frequencies from going anywhere but along the wires or select radio frequencies they are designed for. just google - Tesla EMR / EMF Set and zero out your NIA equipment with the patches.

sounds like there might be one bad sensor on the headband, check the OCZ support forums to get help.

No having any luck at ALL. If I leave the nia headset set on the desk or even hold it a few inches above my head its absolutely fine. I can have it on my head but without the diamonds touching my forehead and it's fine but as soon as they touch my skin BOOM instant peak. Touching the box does nothing.

i havent yet tried this product but am very interested, but to me it sounds like the problem is with your own body's field, first calm down you send much different brain signals when relaxed or excited, also maybe youve got some sweat on your forehead whose conductivity makes all the difference.

My product was faulty prototype, I returned it for a newer model and had some success in playing the built in 'pong' game.

but it's so simple to loosen the magnetic field... you saw thatjust touching the blax box will strenghten the signal right? So why not make a cable which will act as a grounding? it could be a clip-earring on one side and simply taped to the box from other side.....

Unfortunately it is not that simple, you need to ground yourself but the ground has to be as far away as possible from the sensors, otherwise you will kill the signal. For example, if you add a ground to the headband, then there will be no signal left because it all drains into the gropund connection. This leaves the hand or better the leg or foot as the best alternative.

sorry for my bad english.... i meant to use a clip-earring but for a finger. maybe even a simple ring with would have connection only to surface of the box.if it would only be a ring it would lessen the uncomfortability of touching the box directly

i can't say if it will work actually in 100% but it should at least help somehow. Too bad i can't afford it. In poland it cost 500 of local value and for a fresh university student like me it's too much. I would really like to test it althrought :)...Maybe someday

First off I LOVE the NIA, it is too much fun.

Secondly, that is scary that just a little power cord can cause that much of a jump in your brain activity. I wonder if that is good or bad for you...

i'm as far away from any power supply cables as i can be but still i get 250/4850 which just makes the line hug the top and makes the nia useless

that is strange, there must be another source of - let's call it electrical pollution - that generates that kind of signal amplitudes

lets not forget haarp broadcasting on those same frequencies, perhaps develop a device that listens to the outside e-m interference and reacts accordinly, kind of like noise canceling headphones

The problem for me is that my power strip and associated bricks is powering my PC setup. I will try to move my NIA totally away from the power strip to see what happens.
