The Coast Guard is recruiting again.

I talked to my recruiter in July, went to MEPS 2 weeks later. When I got back from MEPS I was told I made it.

@NelsonHoofard how was meps? Are you saying that when you got back from meps they told you that you had passed your medical and were headed to cape may?

damn yo.. i dont think im enlisting in the coast guard anymore.. They only got reserves available now and I want active duty.

@CorruptNwa yeah its just because of the economy and the budget cuts to the Coast Guard and the military as a whole. Hopefully it will pick back up soon.

@CorruptNwa just go reserve for now until it picks back up then switch to active. i have guys at my station that did that.
