You are trippin, no offense brother. Sauce's style is a combination of 3 people, and he'd be the first to tell you. Jungle Boogie, Mick, and himself. He studied Jungle Boogie's style in the 80's and incorporated into his own style with a touch of Mickey. Jungle Boogie/Mickey is go-go's version of Dr. J/Michael Jordan. Think about it.

I agree with you on that. Both of their styles are eerily similar. I grew up w/Sauce and I know his style first hand. I never heard of Petey until I saw Ultimate Groove. When I saw him play for the first time, I was like he sounds like Sauce. I'm not gonna get into who really sounds like who between Sauce & Petey, but both of them are top notch congo players in my book.

Metro club and Deno's is the same PLACE...They changed the name in 91...Brian was rappin in Big -G place that night cus G was locked up..Thats Brian from the Epitome Band.

Ask anybody in Backyard about Keyboard Carlos...Thats me..North West and Southeast was brought together by Ultimate Grooves Peety,and Uptowns Sauce having a battle of the congo's at the Safari club in 1990..But peety and Sauce became friends,and all of us became friends,but Back ended up with HALF our band.
