While a cool video, those F/A-18s are never going to get gas from a C-130 of any variety. KC-130s and HC-130P/Ns are modified with a trailing drogue and hose. The other aircraft would have to have a fuel probe to get gas through. F/A-18's use a UARRSI system, not a probe. 

Still a cool shot. Helicopters are a bit more frightening because the blade look much closer, especially through NVGs.

This is not an AC-130; those are the gunship variants of the C-130. This is the KC-130 (as stated in the video description) It's job is primarily to be a flying gas station and sometimes carry cargo and other goodies.

I see what you are looking at but it was just insulation. When we opened the ramp one of the strips of insulation was ripped and the stuff went flying all over the place. You can see the ripped insulation bag flapping, it's in the upper left part of the screen most of the video. Sorry no UFO's.

Think if you are going down the road in your car and hold a hand full small pieces of paper by the window. When you roll the window down not all the paper would get sucked out the window, some would just swirl around in your car. That's kind of what happened with the insulation Its hard to see it flying around inside because of the light contrast so it looks like the stuff is flying outside the plane but if you look around 0:30 you can see it is inside and sometimes getting sucked out the back

To clarify all the misinformation here. Those are Marine F/A-18 Hornets. This is a Marine Corps KC-130 F or R model. This is not a KC-135. It definitely is not a KC-130J model. This was filmed in '99. In '99, the Marine KC-130 J model was still being tested/evaluated. The first unit to get the J model was VMGR-252 out of Cherry Point, NC. VMGR-352 didn't get theirs till 2004. VMGR-152 just received their first KC-130J April 2008. How do I know all this? I was in both VMGR-352 & VMGR-152.

That would be the D , model, that is the original F/A-18 hornet, the F is the Super Hornet you can tell by the round intakes of the jet engines, the super hornet has square intakes. Just for your info.
