i want to start all over and do the BC butttt im scared and i dont think i'll look right with short hair(people say heads to big for short hair) and plus ive always had long hair my whole life. But i want to do it any advise? and i love the style they cut it in!
You know,I used to be upset when you cut off your hair.... until my own hair started slowly acting up :/. Not I am not sure if my hair is damaged or not... but if it is I am going to do a second big chop :/... I would rather have short healthy hair that would grow out again than hair that is stunned in growth because I have those damaged pieces on. (btw I believe it is color damage, the front of my hair no longer likes to curl so it is a big frizzy mess of bangs :/)

With my fro,I use the Huetiful Hair Steamer facial attachment on the days following my hair being washed & hydrated. It's AMAZING! THE BEST for revitalizing my curls w/o re-wetting or using product.
Basically, I twist my hair at night & sleep w/my satin bonnet. When I take a shower, I let the steam get to my twists. When I get out & untwist my hair, I let the Huetiful facial steam run through my hair after I untwist it. My kinky twists come out in a week. I'll post a video so you can see.
LOVED the long hair, but I must say the short cut is absolutely GORGEOUS on you. I'm growing my hair out as well and rotating between kinky twist braids & curly fro. I'm doing a 1 year no heat challenge so I can get back to my authentic texture. As a natural hair Vlogger, I want to speak from the perspective of a not only a str8 (blow dry/flat iron) natural, but also a str8 (strictly) natural w/ my curly hair.

My regimine every other day I soak it completely. Conditioner in the shower. Detangle was a breeze. Kinky Kurly Pudding didnt work (need more weight) Used Eco gel and shea butter. Shake Shake and go. Enjoy Beautiful!

i think you had really bad heat damge and you decided to cut your hair because when you get heat damage there is no way to repair it but to cut it off

I just cut my hair tonight. I feel bare without my hair but i had to do it in order for it to properly grow. It was badly damage, i kept using perms. The shit was getting on my nerves how it wouldnt grow back properly. But watching your videos and other ppl natural hair touturial videos inspired me to do this. Ive been a natural for almost a year now and i was growing my hair nicely. all of a sudden i decided i wanted it to be short! i got mines cut just like how yours is about a month ago. i love it. but i couldnt find any naturals with short cuts other than twa's. im so happy im not alone lol. it looks beautiful. Well I'm 13 and I was on and off, natural one year, then the next yr I would get sock of my hair, and then relax it... That kind thing went on since I was about 6 to maybe 11. When I was about eleven i stopped getting perms. I liked it for awhile, but then when it was get yr hair done time, it was a nightmare.. So I went ahead and got another perm.. For months I've been wanting (NEEDING) to cut my hair. After I saw your video I cut my hair this weekend. I LOVE IT!!! I may never grow my hair out again (at least not in the back. I was tired of worrying about my hair and regreting the mistakes I'd made in my natural journey. I won't tell you your cut is gorgeous because you already know, but I will say thanks for the inspiration.

i know how you feel. i remember when i cut my hair all off into a pixie cut, and people were shocked, the thing is i looked really nice in that hair style. But i found out i am a long hair girl. i love all the many things you can do with long hair. Yet i still miss having the care free short hair. Because it always looks fresh and healthy.

I just cut my hair tonight. I feel bare without my hair but i had to do it in order for it to properly grow. It was badly damage, i kept using perms. The shit was getting on my nerves how it wouldnt grow back properly. But watching your videos and other ppl natural hair touturial videos inspired me to do this. And by the way you look beautiful with your haircut.

See you look beautiful with a short cut just the same as the long hair. Not everyone can pull off short hair. Me I don't think I look nice with short hair because of the shape my face and jaw bone is structure. I like it on you:*)

This vid has completely inspired me to go ahead and cut my hair. I have long hair and it's getting to the point where it's just SO HARD to maintain.
I have been in love with short hair since Nia Long's short days, then I completely fell in true love ever since Rhianna chopped her hair back in 08' and started experimenting with cuts.
Then when Megan Good cut her hair I was pretty much HOOKED, but was just too scared to do it. But if you can do it, I definitely can! Thank you!
