good news for australian ebayers, buyers and sellers, all these charges and not what the compulsory use of paypal and all this other shit, have been deem illegal. If ebay wishes to do busness in australia, they have to abide by australian law, which means a minimum of 3 payment methods, all the bull shit fees have to go bye, byes, they have declared themselves an auction website. They have to abide by australian auction laws.

Approx around the same time, Paypal added their new 21 day hold policy, which probably will scare off most of the new sellers. If eBay doesn't change the policy back to focus on the basics again, eBay will fall, and other auction sites like eBid and iOffer will take over. 1st the sellers will leave eBay which they're already doing, then the buyers will follow, because eBay forgot where they get their inventory from.
Ebid, iOffer, Craigslist, OOdle are all better than Ebay. Moneybookers and Google Checkout are better than Paypal when comes to leveled playing field for both sellers and buyers. Avoid Paypal like a plague if you are seller!!!

Recently I received a message from an eBay seller who said he is not happy with the final sale price of his auction and that he asks that I NOT send payment because he no longer wishes to complete the transaction. He will be receiving his first negative feedback in a matter of hours. Under the old system he could just neg me right back for no other reason than he is angry that I am letting other eBayers know about his refusal to uphold his end of the bargain. The new system is *already* working.

eBay should see the way they are upsetting people; yet if their plan is to make the market more competitive, then they are succeeding! The people that leave eBay are driving up the competition for those that stay. The buyers will end up paying higher prices. Their master plan might very well be working to raise the values of items. I love how my comment was repeatedly negged despite the fact that I was *right* about the recent discount being for sellers with 4.5 DSRs not "4.7" as was - incorrectly - stated. The poster of this video was intentionally deceitful about eBays new fee structure in the informaion to the right and does not even factor in free gallery (used to be 35 cents per listing), FV discounts for sellers with good DSRs... he is using what Al Gore reffered to as "fuzzy math".

Ebay was great before the men at the top got greedy, Ebay had the power to appeal to a very wide audience, of all ages, counties, social backgrounds and interests, because it was so diverse, almost anything you could think of, that you might want to buy, was on there.
This diversity was Ebay's true strength and it is this diversity that is going to be lost.
The little people are being squeezed out.
It's being made so, that it's just not worth their while to list items for such a poor return.
....With the loss of these sellers goes the diversity

Eventually eBay will implode under the weight of its own greed and mismanagement. We are building elsewhere during the boycott period. Sites with promise are WENSY and EBID which has a U.S. base too. WENSY is relatively new but has grown enormously since June of '07. The site looks good, runs fast, allows 6 photos per item and is free for buyers and sellers. Yep, no fees of any kind! It is now in the top 20 monitored on the PSU site.
EBID, too, looks promising. Like others, we are listing there during the eBay boycott period as well. Currently, we have six EBID items listed with one bid pending, but Rome wasn't built in a day. We are determined to wean from eBay.

If you go to goofbay.(com) A wonderful site to help ebayers, you can put his user name in and bring up all hi =s over 500 nasty remarks. How can eBay allow someone to stay on ebay with over 500 negatives is beyond me.

I have a huge non-paying bidders list, too. And all of my negative feedback is strictly from non-paying deadbeats retaliating. The whole feedback system is totally unfair as are the ungodly fees. Would love to see e-Bay go down in flames!

Lost $4,900 on a Tektronix Oscilloscope by eBay scammer "TestEquipmentSurplus"out of Anaheim, CA.
The seller Joon Kyong said "We ship item!" but the Oscilloscope never arrived and his phone was "No Longer in Service"
We called to file a resolution center complaint, asking if the team could help us bust Mr. Kyong, the seller who ripped us off.
The PayPal/eBay Fraud Investigation Team said they would NOT investigate anything without a written Court Order from an Anaheim Circuit Judge.

Read auctionbytes blog article "eBay Launches Feedback Extortion Policy", where a corporate shill & ebay employee chimes in as "John Rathert", and says
"You and David are about as big a joke as there is. Go write about the fuzz in your navels."
That is harassment/ intimidation of the press.
Now, is that the sort of thing that people will put up with?
That is a crime, IMO.
Suggest everyone begin writing their lawmakers & FTC to have this misbehavior looked into.

eBay should see the way they are upsetting people; yet if their plan is to make the market more competitive, then they are succeeding! The people that leave eBay are driving up the competition for those that stay. The buyers will end up paying higher prices. Their master plan might very well be working to raise the values of items. As our economy goes, this may be beneficial in the end?! Who knows what their main objective REALLY is?!!

I like how you try to twist ebays efforts to give incentives to GOOD sellers and encourage sellers to provide better customer service and grow the community into something malicious!

I love how my comment was repeatedly negged despite the fact that I was *right* about the recent discount being for sellers with 4.5 DSRs not "4.7" as was - incorrectly - stated. The poster of this video was intentionally deceitful about eBays new fee structure in the informaion to the right and does not even factor in free gallery (used to be 35 cents per listing), FV discounts for sellers with good DSRs... he is using what Al Gore reffered to as "fuzzy math".

This is just stupid. I buy items on Ebay (and sell as well, but not as often) and the prices/changes are okay with me. Sure it's money out of my pocket, but Ebay has to make a profit too! I'll make my own profit by selling some old junk I don't need, etc. Don't listen to these idiots. They're just trying to smear Ebay's CEO, which is unfair because if they really cared they would try and hold meetings and debate over the changes in prices rather than, "Let's Boycott Ebay!"

Ebay was great before the men at the top got greedy, Ebay had the power to appeal to a very wide audience, of all ages, counties, social backgrounds and interests, because it was so diverse, almost anything you could think of, that you might want to buy, was on there.
This diversity was Ebay's true strength and it is this diversity that is going to be lost.
The little people are being squeezed out.
It's being made so, that it's just not worth their while to list items for such a poor return.

The thing is the men at the top are missing this point, Ebay is being turned into a giant shopping mall, like our towns and cities, you can walk down any high street in any of them and not know where you are because they all look the same, the independent shops have gone leaving only the large mass market faceless chains.

Eventually eBay will implode under the weight of its own greed and mismanagement. We are building elsewhere during the boycott period. Sites with promise are WENSY and EBID which has a U.S. base too. WENSY is relatively new but has grown enormously since June of '07. The site looks good, runs fast, allows 6 photos per item and is free for buyers and sellers. Yep, no fees of any kind! It is now in the top 20 monitored on the PSU site.

EBID, too, looks promising. Like others, we are listing there during the eBay boycott period as well. Currently, we have six EBID items listed with one bid pending, but Rome wasn't built in a day. We are determined to wean from eBay.

An example of a very mean, racist, cruel cold hearted nasty Seller is. "thankyoustan" on eBay. If a buyer gives him a neutral he negs them with negative feedback. Even if they leave him a positive feedback but makes a bad comment , he negs them.
If you go to goofbay.(com) A wonderful site to help ebayers, you can put his user name in and bring up all hi =s over 500 nasty remarks. How can eBay allow someone to stay on ebay with over 500 negatives is beyond me.

We can agree that retaliatory feedback is a problem, but slapping duct tape over the mouths of sellers isn't the right way to go about fixing what ails eBay. After all, it's hard to carry out a conversation when only one party gets to speak what's truly on his or her mind. And asymmetrical conversations are inherently unfair.

Of course my store is blacked out - received a $75.00 order (multiple item listing) and I explained to the person that I would not send an invoice because of the strike - my customer wrote back and said that was fine - but what is this about a strike - I told him I would be forwarding this video - Excellent work here -

the alternative has to be a viable option...otherwise you can put the fees back on buyers and charge a premium/upcharge at the end to cover fees...but the inability to leave non-paying bidders negative fb is what seems to really tick people off...like the hacking and hijacking of screen names is not enough...you cannot imagine how long my blocked buyers list is...down with feepay!

buyers must realize that if ebay drives small sellers away, competition/selection goes down, and they suffer. The only way to avoid nonpaying bidders is to make all your acutions 'buy it now' with immediate payment required, PAYPAL ONLY.......hhmmm who owns paypal????

why does feepay care about bringing back buyers??? buyers don't pay them diddley! we the sellers are their customers...we're the ones feepay should worry about running off. if those idiots realized that attracting more sellers (increasing competition) drives prices down they'd understand that this is the better buying experience buyers are looking for...of course buyers think shipping is too high...gas is +$3/gal...if you don't sell on feepay, when was the last time you shipped something???

Everyone...go email as many people as you can...those you have bought from: Ask them if they will have this item up for auction after the strike? You will be SURPRISED how many HAVE NO CLUE that there is a strike!!!!! Email them back and tell them where to go...discussion board/youtube/boycott

The person that has been leaving me nasty threatening emails lives at 616 Jackson Avenue, Waxhaw, NC - this week I received an order for $1.49 item - said payment was sent Feb 14 - He filed a negative on me Feb 15 - guess what his address is? 606 Jackson Avenue - Waxhaw, NC - do you think this is maliciousness or what? Then I was denied FVF refund because he says he still wants the item.
