You don't understand the business of the sport. The intent of PPV isn't necessarily just for the MEGA fights. It's also for smaller fights that the networks won't buy or for fights with a specific ethnic fanbase such as TR's Pinoy Power or Latin Fury series.

You SHOULD care what the networks do as a fan. Because if they spent $ on this fight just because Shane has a name, then that is 1 less fight you would see with Martinez, or Rios, or somebody that you actually DO want to see
