To be fair, it's been some decades for The Police. In a decade, Bieber will be an unknown, guaranteed. The teens who love him today will look back and think "um...wtf?", the same way my generation did with Aaron Carter (thumbs up to you if you remember that kid!).

The classics will live on. Bieber is just a overhyped product, and if anyone's ever taken a business class, no product stands the test of time.

He was something without them. A Moon Over Bourbon Street, Fortress Around Your Heart, Be Still My Beating Heart are all good.

But without Stewart and Andy, his ballads (Roxanne, Message In A Bottle) would have never made it the way they did when they (Stewart, especially) turned them into reggae anthems.

Stewart was the best rock and roll drummer in history and Andy's scales were from outer space (or at least from Arabia).
