This is stupid. If banks are not making loans to creditworthy black people, then that's a huge profit opportunity for people like dsglop and the entire "progressive establishment". They can swoop in and seize a huge chunk of the market from the banks.
That this wasn't happening tells me that the banks knew what they were doing and that the credit score didn't tell the whole story, especially since the default rates prior to the CRA between blacks and whites were roughly even.
